Is Nexium over the counter the same strength as prescription Nexium?

Nexium OTC is the exact same drug formula, as Nexium Prescription, except for the strength. The OTC is limited to 20 mg/capsule, while the prescription dose can vary, but is usually 40 mg. Two OTCs taken as prescribed for one 40 mg script, will work, but always check with your physician.
I don't believe they are, there are many levels a doc can prescribe that you can't otc
