I took the above when I first got pain, but now I take [-{{dexilant}}-], and I rarely have the problem any longer.
How long apart do you need to wait after taking omeprazole to take the Sucralfate and then how long to wait before eating food.. it's so time consuming but want to get the most effect to stop my discomfort.. thanks
I would take the Omeprazole first to slow down the acid production and I would wait about an hour before taking the Carafate. Be careful because carafate make you constipated really bad and its like something as heavy as a rock sits in your stomach but the medicine has been around for years and works really great.
I am taking sucralfate due to the cost of carafat being $43 every 10 days.. it's s large white chalky pill .. but I manage to get it down.. I take The omeprazole in morning .. wait about 45 minutes eat some breakfast and take sucralfate about 11/2-2 hours later.. then again at bedtime
