Can people use this pill to get high? Hydroxyzine?

My opinion for anxiety and PTSD because I have both I take xanaxs three times a day 1 milligram and 50 milligrams of Seroquel once day!!

I have been taking hydroxyzine pamoate 50mg capsules (1 pill @ bedtime) for the last 2 yrs now. I agree that it can make you feel high. 15 to 20 minutes after I take this medication I begin to feel like I smoked a fat joint. I have hallucinated a little on them as well. I believe that do to the body chemistry of adolescence larger doses of this particular medication can make a teenager feel high.

My wife and i give our kids some space. Our daughter suffers from depression,ptsd and ODD(oppositional defiance disorder). My wife was on a phone call with a mental health professional and our daughter took that time to find some Xanax that we forgot to lockup. So sometimes being a harda!$ is needed.

Its true your child should be able to go and talk to you about things if not your doing it wrong!

I wish I had parents who were worried about me but they ditched me and moved off and left me to finish school and take care of myself on my own. So before you go around telling people what to do, first evaluate yourself, your credibility with the situation (which is zero). Some of you guys really need to get a hold of yourselves. It's unhealthy to take so much stock from a comment on the internet. Whether you contribute to the overpopulation of the planet or not is completely irrelevant to your quality as a person or right to contribute to a healthy discussions. Hey taurineruby: years later and all you did was sign up, misquoted your target to give you some semblance of authority. Nothing here gives you the right to all gang up on a persons belief. It would seem your childhood was less ideal but it's the fault of no-one here. I'm firmly in favor of liberal parenting with some boundaries; not so strangely people are happy to talk to me and ask personal questions. The only thing that I learned from being belted with a blunt object was that the idea of doing that to a child sickens me.

Over policing ur kids is one thing..emptying pockets b4 laundry should b expected. I'd definitely have researched a pill I found in my kids pocket. Id also inform him that if he gets caught w it and no scrip he will prob go to jail. He may or may not know anything about what he's taking. If somebody have me a random pill at a party I would take it and ask questions later... but I was extreme. There r very few kids who have a great relationship w their parents to say 'hey mom..got this from Zach..what do u think'... I mean really..come on

First of all when I was a teenager I had good communication with my parents but I did hide a lot from them it's just being a teenager and I have a 13 year old daughter that does not tell me everything but most part she does it's not called controlling I'm sorry I believe everybody has their own opinion and there should be no arguments over social media yeah granted you have your own opinion leave it at that!!

A must agree ... controlling parents are no good ... I have a 17 year old daughter and we have the best relationship because number one I'm not controlling number two ... she knows if she comes to me I'm not going to freak out and yell and scream and ground her ... I will have an adult-lke conversation with her about whatever the problem may be ... drugs are a very serious issue and instead of not instead of going on a talk board and asking for information ask him and tell him he's not in trouble ... as far as this stuff it is a relative of the Benadryl family. It really doesn't do much harm it causes sleeplessness and drowsiness and it will also help with anxiety. It is not a controlled substance. I don't see any real danger with this drug but like with all drugs people can OD on acetaminophen so better to talk then not to to him ... good luck. Concerned mom.

If you were trying to get high off of hydroxyz 25mg would you bite into them
