Hydromorphone or Dilaudid, it's trade name does not have Tylenol in it. Most of the other common painkillers do. You just have to look at the amount of Tylenol in the medication. The amount of tylenol is always the number after the mg amount of the opiate. For example, hydrocodone 10/325 has 10 mg of hydrocodone and 325 mg of Tylenol, whereas hydrocodone 7.5/750 has 7.5 mg hydrocodone and 750 mg tylenol. The maximum amount of Tylenol for an adult each day is 4000 mg or 4 Gm.
Make sure that you keep track of the amount of Tylenol you take each day if you do take Tylenol in between.
All my best... pup
Yes I agree there is no tylenol in Diluadid.
Thank you
I am a recent cancer and AIDS patient... I recently was in a medicated sedation with a coma as an effect... respiratory failure and all... I have been prescribed dilaudid as a resource for pain management after I awoke for pain manegmantand maintenance... I was afraid to take this drug because I was afraid of counteracting due to the medications I take as a result of my conditions... thank you because I now know to tale advil, rather than tylenol.

Yep, as Maso shows, it is ok to take tylenol with hydromorphone but not with hydrocodone as it is formulated with tylenol already in it.
