I am currently on my second shot, 3 weeks till my third. Today I am experiencing brown discharge with slight cramping. I had spotting with my first shot for about two months. Is it normal to spot this late on the second shot?

Yes, it can happen with Depo, even when you've been on it years. You are still protected against pregnancy.
I only spotted for a day though it seems to have gone away now. I started spotting yesterday and it stopped today this afternoon.. is that normal?
Well actually it was mostly brown discharge, except once when I went to the bathroom and it was bright red blood like an actual period.. just once

So weird!! Just after I post that comment I began spotting again! What is going on???
