I had normal period before i had the shot, then it caused me to have abnormal periods til this day, 6 years later. Lately ive had regular normal periods but for 4-5 years it was bad on and off. Also, it caused me to lactate. I only had 1 shot. And never did it again cause i bled for 3 months straight. I have had a child since then and breastfed for a few weeks i asked my doctor while i was pregnant if it was normal to lactate even if not pregnant and he said yes. Everyones different. He didnt even question or worry. He said as long as it isnt yellow?? I dont have insurance so i havent gone and gotten checked yet.
