I didnt had a period in june as im on depo injection can I still have the depo injection
I personally have gotten three Depo shots so far so I’ve gotten pretty familiar with what to expect with my period. I got my first injection on day two of my period & I too experienced a quick stop of that period. Since then, I’ve only gotten one period over the almost 9 month span of getting my injections. I was assured that this is normal because the injection suppresses your pituitary gland resulting in your ovaries “resting” and not generating a new lining of your uterus. I think you’re perfectly fine! Just consult your primary care physician if you’re still uneasy.
I got my frist Depo Provera shot while on my period and I haven't had one since. Is this normal And how long should u work to have sex
Well I had my c-section got on this two months later never had my period haven't had it for a year now is that bad
I was on depo for 22 years, no period, very light cramping some times when nearing time for another injection. My doctor took me off of it when he realized the PA add been giving it time for so long. Ordered a bone scan for fear of bone loss... My bone scan was better than normal for women my age (48). Stopped the shot in July 2017 and still no period. No clue for sure whether I went through menopause or not.
So ive been having heavy periods all my life and I have two periods twice a month and im just wondering if this will stop me from having periods every month.
Normal. My experience was when I got the shot it was a week after my period. Then I got my period only the next month for 2 weeks (opposed to my 3-5 days normally) but it was so light to the point where I never needed a pad or tampon. Now I don't get periods as long as I keep up to date on my shots every 3 months.
I got my first shot of depo before my period ... And I'm kinda worried about it like will I get it like I'm cramping so idk what's going on ... And Would the doctors gave it to me if I was pregnant
I am about to get my third shot and the only time i got my period was two months after my first shot in janurary && ever since then i havent had my period. It normal.
My first two periods after depo shot were pretty bad but i had a c section a few months before and figured that w education as why. I'm now six days late but hoping it has stopped
While people have responded way sooner, I just want to say yes, this is normal. I was on my period when I got my shot... granted, it didn't stop the same day, but it ended sooner than it should have, although I did have spotting the next month after, and then never again since. I was told I would still have spotting for a few months, and got lucky. Did yours ever come back or have you been blessed as well? :P
Yes, it's totally normal. I've had Depo stop my periods within the same day as the shot.
If this is your first shot, you can expect your periods to be a bit all over the place until you're on your 3rd or 4th shot. Most people find they stop all together after that, although everyone is different. Until then, you may get prolonged and/or heavy bleeding. If you do, then your doctor or whoever prescribes your shot, will need to monitor you to ensure you do not become anaemic.
Yes, your periods can stop when you use Depo Provera. Please see the link below for reviews ... you may find them useful.
