Thinking that Sucralfate mixes with stomach acids to form a gel to protect the ulcerated areas before eating. Something we don't do while asleep.
How does a bedtime dose of Sucralfate help my Ulcers? I've heard of dream walking but dream eating?

You need it even more at night, when there is nothing else in your stomach to absorb the acid produced.
Thank you Kaismama for your very quick answer. I guess my knowledge of how digestion works is even more limited than I thought. Hopefully if I could just get out of pain for a few hours here and there, then I'll be able to learn more. People who have pain constantly from one ailment or the other find concentrating on anything could be a challenge. Thanks once more.

Don't I know it. It sure interferes with your life. By the way, there is such a things that could qualify as dream eating. There are people who get up at night in their sleep and eat.
