But It's not thrush... I always rinse my mouth out after using my inhalers, usually with a large glass of water.. Previously I was on Seretide with Duolin as my relever and had no mouth troubles at all.. Any feedback is most welcome thanks..

Have you asked your prescriber if this can be administered with a spacer? It helps me using ALBUTEROL, maybe you too?

Thanks for your suggestion but the inhaler I use is a turbuhaler(powder type) and my Dr. nor I have heard of a spacer that fits onto it.. I was on Seretide before the change and I could fit a spacer onto it as it was an aerosol type inhaler and it worked well.. If you know of the name or brand of the spacer that fits onto a turbuhaler, I'd love to know please??? In the meantime the mouth ulcers haven't been as bad and I find swirling with milk helps too.. Thanks again for your support, it's much appreciated..:)

I have used Symbicort for several years now, its worth a few ulcers to control my asthma. I found water doesnt work, I tried swilling diet coke around, just a mouthful. I know this is not exactly a correct answer but = Result = no more problems. Hope this will suit you too .. good luck -

Thanks awfully Anna.. Yes, I too find Symbicort very good, I'm just getting my head around the turbuhaler after years of using aerosol inhalers is tad tricky..
