I got my script from my doc yesterday for 1mg clonazepam after previously being on 0.5mg. I filled the 0.5mg at Walgreens and got the Mylan yellow ones, which were ok, but I wanted to try another pharmacy to see if I could get the Teva generic (we don't have CVS where I live). The mylan 0.5s worked just as they were supposed to in my opinion, so no complaints there, but I had noticed extreme incompetence in the 1mg Mylan clonazepam last time I was prescribed them.
So I went to a Sav-On pharmacy and they filled my 1mg script with the "Accord Health Care" generics. They're blue pills with a C 1 on one side and blank on the other, with NO score... which bothers me because my doc's intersections say 1/2 to 1 pill twice a day... and its hard to break a pill evenly with no score sometimes, especially when I don't have a pill cutter handy.
IMO, all generics are pretty much the same and the fact that the FDA makes sure they're tested for dosage and bioavailabilty and metabolism being the same of the brand name, I have no worries buying generic. But I've never seen these before and their website looks sketchy as hell. It makes me wonder if they're a super new pharm company that's lured some pharmacies into buying their generic clonazepam (one of the apparently three drugs they even make... again sketchy) because it's cheap.
I just want to make sure I'm getting my proper dose and that the medication is able to achieve the effect intended by my doctor. Has anyone else tried these Accord clonazepam pills? What do you think?

I think Accord clonazepam is horrible, it made me feel worse and the hangover was unreal. I'm trying to get Teva that is the only one I trust.

I have Mylan 0.5 Clonazepam right now, had it filled on 8/30/18. So apparently there's still some product out there. They don't work for me, I've been struggling with them. I prefer the Accord 0.5 mg Clonazepam, they work much better for me. I hope I receive them back again on my next fill.

I have been on klonopin for over a year. I have always used the generic yellow 0.5mg and now CVS is selling the orange accord brand. They are horrible they dont work for me. Side effects are bad space out feeling waking up in the middle of the night. I dont understand how they can even sell them in the US they need to keep that in China. I know they are buying these cheaper and making profit they told me they are on back order. Walgreens said the same. Other places have the yellow ones. Any feed back would be great

I am literally in the same boat. And unfortunately Mylan is no longer going to manufacture any generic clonazepam!!! I'm at a loss at what to do. The teva brand doesn't work well, the purpac seemed like a placebo, and this accord makes me loopy, dizzy, and having bouts of nausea and diarrhea! I really wish another generic worked because my only other option is to switch to brand. I'm at a loss.

I have taken Sandoz Clonazepam brand for over 10 years, never had a problem, then they stopped making them and gave me ACCORD... I find they make me edgy, they don't last as long either. My Dr has upped my daily amount from .05mg 3 times a day, up to .05mg 4 times a day now :(. I'm hoping switching to Actavis will be a better drug, and I can go back down to my regular doze. Anyone know anything about Actavis?

I completely agree. Accord Health Care clonazepam is weird. You don't get that nice, clean effect where your anxiety is just gone. You feel a little bit out of it. You're a little spaced out. And you don't get that warm feeling all over you body. It doesn't feel cozy. You can't concentrate as well. Teva brand clonazepam works the best for me definitely. And feels a lot more potent, about twice the potency, yet still a different feeling. It just feels diluted. It doesn't do what it's meant to do, at least help with anxiety the way good clonazepam, even generic does. Two thumbs down for Accord Health Care.

Teva acquired Actavis and is making their own Teva generic. They did in the past, discontinued it and is back by popular demand. They're no longer making Actavis. This just happened in the past couple of months
I have always had great results from Mylan manufacturer. However, on my last refill of Clonazepam 0.5mg from Accord filled by Walgreens, I had a reaction from the medicine and find they do not have the same effect as Mylan. I have got to try locating another pharmacy who carries Clonazepam by Mylan or get it mail ordered from the Insurance pharmacy. Good luck with Accord. I also learned Accord is cheaper than Mylan so some pharmacies have switched to Accord.

My son (asd) was on Sandoz brand clonazepam. The pharmacy ran out and changed them to Teva. He had a horrible reaction!! He was panicky, crying and completely uncooperative most of the days. So doc ordered Sandoz from then on. With his last refill last week I was told that Sandoz has discontinued making Clonazepam (of course, my luck). So I chose to try the Accord brand. They are working well and seem to possibly be a bit stronger than Sandoz. They are also the same color and taste. So in my opinion Teva bad, Accord good. Hopefully they won't discontinue anytime soon.

I have been using Walgreens to fill this prescription for years. I have never had a problem until 2 months ago when to my shock I received blue tablets. After the 2nd month I called to find out what the hell wad going on. I dont know whats different with the blue but my pannic attacks happen like I have no medication. The green Mylan worked with no issues. THIS NEEDS NEEDS TO CHANGE.

I've been Rxd to 2mg clonazepam for years (about 13yrs). Suddenly, walgreens had switched from actavis to accord brand and the accord ones are terrible! They're like candy. I feel like I have to double up on them, but can't bc then I'll run out early. I think it's time to call the FDA on these. I get headaches from them, my anxiety does not go away, I can't sleep with these, I itch, etc. I've called many different Walgreens and it's like they've all changed to accord...

I have been on clonazepam for anxiety and panic attacks for several years. I was on the 1/2 mg. tablets for a couple of years. More recently, my doctor increased me to the 1 mg. tablets. Since I first began the clonazepam, I have been given a few different brands of it with no problems at all - until I was given the Accord brand. The Accord is evidently made in China. It does absolutely nothing for my anxiety or panic attacks, and it also makes me dizzy and itchy. I have called every pharmacy in this city, and they have all gone to the Accord brand. Right now, even though they claim that Accord is perfectly fine, Walgreens is trying to special order me something besides Accord. People should absolutely not be subjected to this!
yes, I have used accord almost exclusively for 4 years. My Rite Aid pharmacy switched to Teva and I was getting irritable and started to yell at people more. I use them for anxiety and PTSD... I called Rite aid and next time I was back with accord and doing fine. They are .5mg and orange. The Tevo's were yellow. They both have a cross hatch to cut. Rite Aid just did it to me again and my son had to return them and get accord. They are morons... I called 2 months ago and they have it in their computer to fill mine with accord.

I am prescribed Clonazepam .05 mgs twice daily, I've been getting the yellow Teva brand for over a year and half now, Today I went to rite aid pharmacy which is not the pharmacy I always go too but I'm waiting on a prior authorization for my insurance to pay for my Adderall, my pharmacy charges 60$ so I went to rite aid which I got my Adderall for 43.00 and decided to just fill my Clonazepam script their too since I was already their! Anyway long story short I received the orange 1/2 .05 mg Clonazepam, and I honestly think they work just the same as Teva and other manufacture companies! I was on clonazepam for years prior and I have had pretty much every brand, and I have never noticed a difference! Sometimes are minds play tricks and are so use to a certain brand that when you receive a different brand you already have your mind set that only one brand works for you! That's just my opinion,

Steffy84, I agree with you. I think most of the problems come from thinking too much about it. I've been using the teva brand clonazepam .5mg for years and have just moved from Maryland to Florida and found that no one in my area carries the teva brand. So I have the accord brand. And I am sitting here worrying about taking the accord brand! I know I'm setting myself up... if my noses itches I'll blame it on the new clonazepam... lol. But I have no choice, it's all I have and I'm trying to cut back my dose slowly so I can eventually stop taking it completely. I've been taking it regularly for many years now and my doctor thinks it's time to stop. I've been taking .5mg 3 times a day for years. There's no way it's still actually helping me. So in exactly 3 minutes I'm gonna take my first 1/2 a pill of the new accord clonazepam. I'm sure I'll be fine... just need to stay busy!

I'm surprised they actually let you take the Teva back to switch it to another brand. It's actually against the law to do that because clonazepam is a controlled substance. Just so you know that they may have done it for you this time. But they might not do it again there. Or at least they probably won't do it for you in another pharmacy in the U.S. But that's awesome that you were able to exchange it!
I have to say, after using the white ones of Clonozepan 0.5, the Accord brand has worked for me perfectly. It doesn't give me stomach ache or diarea, i cut it in have with no problems with a little knife. Now I'm concerned because It can't not be found at this time in any pharmacy, Now i have to return to another brand which will cause me other symptoms, it's like starting all over again... So sad!!!

I have been taking Clonazepam 0.5mg by Mylan for years with no problems. However, on my last refill, Walgreens switched manufacturers from Mylan to Accord and filled my prescription with the Accord orange pill without informing me of their change! I have really bad allergies to dye and some medications. Subsequently, I have had a bad reaction to the Accord Clonazepam orange 0.5mg pill, but cannot find a pharmacy locally who carry Mylan... they are either on back order or they do not carry Mylan. I have found that Accord is cheaper than Mylan and it does not last. So now I have to try locating another local pharmacy or wait over a week for a supply to come from my insurance company's pharmacy. This is not good at all.

Personally Accord clonazepam, do not work! I have told Walgreens Pharmacy in Springfield Missouri about this several times and they say they can't get Mylan or Tebow. So they throw this Accord on me and I am so frustrated! I have asked them if there has been a recall on this product and they continue to say no! I don't know how the Food Drug Administration can allow this company to produce a product that I now know doesn't work for other people! I am just assuming... they must sell for less so. we the consumer suffer! I'm glad I found this page, so that I know I'm not the only one!!

I just started taking 2mg Accord Health Care clonazepam today. And I just took my my first tablet. They are white, with a C 2 on onne side, round, and dissolves very quickly under the tongue if taken that way. Dissolves a lot faster than the Teva brand ones, which were the ones I have always gotten and my preferred. I noticed the effect seems to be a lot milder. The Tevas felt much stronger, IMO. However, I almost always would take my Tevas on an empty stomach. But even when I would take them after a meal, the effect would take effect in about 1 hour, with or without meal. So I do feel disappointed. But I want to wait and see if my withdrawal symptoms get lifted completely. If they do, then maybe the clonazepam just hits smoother and slower but still achieves the therapeutic effect equivalent to the Teva once, except without those nice feelings many people seek the drug for, although I honestly don't think that will be the case.
I honestly think they either have less than the requires 2mgs ( and I'm thinking less than half the actual 2mgs. But I willl wait to take them for 3 more days, since it's against the law to return them to a pharmacy to switch them to another brand. But next month, I will call Walmart, where I get my clonazepam, and request that they order Teva brand for me, which they WILL DO, so I can switch back to my favorite generic brand. By the way, just to let you know, many pharmacies, I venture to say possible most ( but I may be wrong) will order you any brand you want in advance to have it ready for you when you need it. You just call like 5 days in advance or so. At least, most of the big chain pharmacies will do, I believe. I know Walmart does for sure. Just spoke to the pharmacist a while ago telling him about the seemingly watered down 2mg Accord Health Care clonazepam and he told me just to call about 5 days in advance and they could specifically order the Teva brand 2mg clonazepam for me with no questions asked if I wanted it next month. So if you go to a big chain, Walmart ( where I usually go, H.E.B., CVS pharmacy, Target and the like, I'm sure they can do that for you so you can always get the brand you want at the same pharmacy without having to be hunting down your brand every time your getting refills. Hope this info helps for some of you. Best of luck. And thanks for all the info to all. Love you guys and gals. And please take care. God loves you

I believe there is nothing wrong with the Teva brand. It's just stronger, has more actual clonazepam than the Accord Health Care. The Tevas more potent hence can have more side effects, at least from my personal experience with both brand in equivalent dosages. Maybe if you lower the Teva brand to 50% of the Accord Health Care brand's mgs., you may feel about the same with less side effects. I'm not suggesting that will definitely work, or that it will work as I said. But you have nothing to lose trying. Some patients are very sensitive to certain medications and need a lot less than the norm for the medications. That would be better for you. You still get your refills when you technically should have run out, put you save the ones that are accumulating. Which means they would last you about twice as long. Which means you don't have to pay to see a doc to get a new prescription until twice the time when you would normally go, saving a pretty good amount of money. Best of luck

This demonstrate that every body reacts different. I have to say Accord, the orange one has been the perfect for me for 3 years. Yes its milder,so it feels naturally not with the strong feeling people feels. I live in Puerto Rico and here the pharmacy do not charge for change. If Accord is out of the market, it will be very sad for me. The only one that does not give me stomach pain or diarrhea.

I had been out of my kpins for a few days and was feeling very anxious... and sh*tty... very bad... I've been on bzos for 20 years and have excepted that are part of my daily life. I usually will take half of what my doctor told me to, but since i was so crappy i just took one fast... my husband did the same and id say about a half hr later we were both feeling VERY nice... could say we both were buzzed off just 1... so now I just break them in half and i kid you not, these lil bitches, just a half of a 1 milligram of THIS brand lasts me all day... i know a lot of people want to or need to take more but this blew my mind how strong this brand is... i don't waste my $$ on any other brand. Rite aid carries this brand... maybe other places do too.Target has a blue 1 mil, but idk what that brand is... it could b the c1 by Accord Healthcare...
I must add that SOMETIMES the less you take of a drug the better it feels. For example... i call 25 ml of seroquel the magic dose... I've tried stronger doses and instead of relaxing me to help me sleep, i got the opposite effect and it sucked... big time, and now the same with the kpins. No one believed me until they tried them and took half their dose and came up to me to say how they were so happy cuz now they have more in a way.
So bottom line... in my opinion they are the absolute best kpin... even stronger than a blue xanax... plus they last much longer.

I get my prescriptions filled at Walgreens. I'm on .5mg clonazepam. Last month and every month before that, i got the pleasant-tasting Mylan pills. Today i got new orange 'Accord' pills. Oddly, my .5mg pills are scored where OP said their 1mg pills were not.
It had a similar taste, but not as much of the minty, slightly numbing sensation that the Mylan ones have. It did dissolve very quickly under the tongue (within 5 seconds, as opposed to 5 minutes for the Mylan ones) which seems like a plus because that it my preferred method of taking them when i'm feeling an attack coming on.
