I got mine filled on the 18th of this month from Walmart. It's horrible! I am not convinced that it is even close to being a replacement for the name brand Adderall. I can't stay awake, feel cranky/moody, headaches that won't go away, shaky, I can't find barely anything on the internet about this medicine either.. Its a white stop sign shaped pill marked m in a box on one side and a 20 on the other.. Anyone else have any issues??

I was forced to switch to ACT generic 10mg capsules 3x10mg twice daily and immediately noticed it was much more potent and tweaked me up so I was not sleeping well so and increased jittery so I dropped one 10mg

From personal experience with Mallinckrodt's POISON, Have your physician check off "NO substitutions". Pick up the PAPER scripts at you psych's office! Even if you have to call 10 different pharmacies that DO NOT give Mallinckrodt's rubbish, sickening generics. You cannot put a price on your wellbeing (unfortunately, the insurance companies do it to us, bad enough) We need to GROUP TOGETHER and file a CLASS ACTION suit against Mallinckrodt ASAP. It is the ONLY way to hold this drug company accountable for ruining our lives. Anyone???

Seriously... I don’t understand how this company is still allowed to sell their version of “adderall.” From what I’ve researched (albeit brief) the FDA hasn’t required them to perform any extra tests or submit additional supporting data showing 1) close to the same effects and having the same active ingredient 2) intending to treat the same condition 3) and proving a measure of blood concentration levels of the active ingredient in patients within a certain degree (from what I’ve read at least) compared to that of the brand name medication. The whole point of generic medications (specifically to ADHD) is to show consumers that our condition of ADHD is being treated using the same active ingredient all while yielding enough of the same positive desired results as name brand and paying a fraction of the price.
For me at least I get no positive effect from Mallinckrodt brand that I normally get (best effects for me are from Teva) from others, and it never came close to even slightly treating my ADHD not even once. I’m with you on the class action lawsuit. I’ve seen corporate giants recently being held accountable in other industries (Wells Fargo, Uber) for being negligent and not having the consumer’s best interest as a priority. The 2 class action lawsuits combined earned me 22 cents lol but the fact that they are being held accountable is what matters. To me, Mallinckrodt’s misdeeds and reckless negligence and lack of a pressing urge to reassure their own customers measures would be taken to ensure the quality of the product millions of people rely on daily to function efficiently is far worse than either of the other corporations I mentioned above.

I've been on the 30mg peach oval brand for four years now and never had a problem with them. A week ago I got the white Mallinckrodt 30mg for the first time. When I take them it feels like I've taken nothing. I can't believe the Mallinckrodt brand is allowed to sell on the market. They are selling product that doesn't work. I always go to Walmart to fill my prescription but they where out so I had to go to Winn Dixie for the first time and they gave me the Mallinckrodt brand. I will never go back to Winn Dixie and I will always make sure first I never receive the Mallinckrodt brand again.

This generic made me a nervous wreck! I have been on Sandoz generic Adderall 20 mg. twice daily, since 2012. My pharmacy switched to Mallinckrodt when I got my refill on June 28, 2018. Bloody awful! 5 minutes after taking this crap, my leg started bouncing, I started chewing my nails and I had NO MOTIVATION for 20 minutes. Then, poof! I started to nod off. You cannot split them in half. They crumble. This means: NO time-release. I am refusing this POISON on my next refill. My entire month was ruined.

I have stopped taking Adderall many times because it will work the first day, and maybe the second day. One may tend to think they need more because they have a lot different process in their body. This is not rational and this is lethal. I have to wait at least 14 plus days before it will work again. It then may work for a week, but then afterward I feel nothing and even tired. I just recently tried another shot at it because I was losing a lot of concentration. I most often go to Costco and I received 15mg from Sun Pharmaceuticals. They worked well and sometimes I could split. I went back to Costco 5 weeks later with a new prescription for 20mg tablets. I opened the bottle up to split one. They were the white colored Mallinckrodt which never worked for me at all. I still thought that it had been enough time and that the chemists had worked the issue. I took a half and felt nothing. I waited 5 hours and took another half and felt nothing.
The next day I took a whole one at 10:00 am and felt no effect. at 9:00 p.m. I took another and felt nothing. Today is the third day. As a result of no effect, I will log my experience with the F.D.A., my physician, the pharmacy, and my prescription health plan. In closing, I will log my experience
with the Mallinckrodt in a very descriptive and harsh way using constructive criticism. Lastly, I will read how I will dispose of these unknown substances that comprise this round white table. I do want to add that this generic brand of pill falls apart and has feeling in your fingers like you could crush it if you pressed it with less than moderate pressure. I have never seen a hard pill that comes softly until I first was dispensed them around three years ago. This a particularly bizarre considering that this pill has not been refined after refusing them for about two years.

Just received this pill for the first time. I feel like it does absolutely nothing when it comes to feeling focused and alert. I actually was thinking I received the wrong medication. Very disappointing

It has been 4 years of the same complaints on this forum. And even though I have my doc write non-generic on my scripts, my pharmacy doesn’t have control of which version of the drug they get (according to all the pharmacists I’ve tried!!) How is this product still on the market?! Can’t we all band together and sue?

Seriously... I’m shocked to see just how much of this same brand of adderall is still going around out there. Same awful adverse effects, same complaints, yet it’s still being carried by so many pharmacies (mostly Costco and Shopko where I’m at). Do complaints hold zero value to the FDA? Crazy that this manufacturer has been ok with its reputation/name taking a hard hit for all this time. I guess enough people/stores must still be buying from them. Just feels like an overly caffeinated diet pill that attempts to “burn fat” by turning up the amount of jitters to max levels.

This white pill by mallinckrodt is awful! I have just started taking Adderall and half of bottle was filled with the orange pill and half the white circle. When i started taking white got headaches, heart pounding fast beat almost went hospital and dizzy. Thought it was just me until i read this post. Called pharmacy and of course told nobody had complained but me :( i will complain on FDA wensite like was suggested and now know better to make sure dont get again!

Are pharmacies allowed to dispense your prescription using 2 different brands? Did they even tell you beforehand that would be the case when filling it for you? That’s insane.

Generally speaking, none of the generic Adderall products made these days work as they should. If fact, I dont know any that do anything except cause a headache. I’ve tried them all and I am not exaggerating. It is because Shire has been pushing Vyvanse so they don’t provide the generic companies with enough of the active ingredient. Thus, people switch over to Vyvanse. It is sad but it is all about money. I filed several formal complaints with the FDA but they are so corrupt in their own right nothing ever happened. I have urge Trump to clean-up the FDA so let’s see how it goes.

I am having same issues??? Exactly why im on here doing research. I dont like this manafacturer so far and pharmacist said before hand if it was ok because its all they had and have had a few complaints. This stuff makes me feel weird

This same this happened to me. CVS did not inform me that the manufacturer had changed because i would have went else where. It was not until i was at home and saw that my pills are white when my regular rx has always been orange regardless go the brand. My rx is written for Adderall 20mg twice a day, this is a joke. This medication is so ineffective it should be taken off the market. The only thing is does about 2 hours after i take it i get tense. It does not help my ADD like the other generic versions. It is terrible because there is nothing i can do about it, I have to wait a month to get a new rx and go to a different pharmacy or just make sure i am never dispensed this brand ever again. For those out there that have not encountered this brand yet, i would be very hesitant about letting your pharmacy fill your rx with these horrible little pills.
I know generics are supposed to be the same because they have the same active ingredients but for this generic brand what ever they use for their inactive ingrediant causes the active ingredients not to work. It might sound funny but i have never experienced this drastic of a difference with a generic medication.

Yes. It is march 2018, are 20mg tabs, imprint is b on top and 973 on bottom.
Peach oval , taste like sugar, are not effective and are sickening. I am researching. Posit that they are fake and cheap., and this from pharmacy and above board .

I recently filled my 20 mg adderall prescription and got these stupid white pills. I take 80 mg a day, and felt constantly tired and depressed on these pills. I would like to fill a complaint too. Yes my husband was just prescribed these he is also cranky they dont seem to work at all for him. I am also prescribed Adderall but mine are still the orange ones and so i tried one of his and it was like not taking my meds.

I also posted a complaint about this generic to the FDA website. This company has gotten in trouble for bad mixes of ADHD medicine before and if everyone is experiencing these symptoms as they say, the manufacturer needs to be held accountable!

I am now having the same problem received Mallinckrodt this past week as Sandoz not available at Costco. I have been going there for 6 years and am wondering why. I called my Dr and was told to go ahead and contact other Pharmacys to see if they carried Sandoz and Dr would give a new prescription for that pharmacy. Not finding one. So now I am not sure what to do. Has anyone heard of mfg aurobindo ? I am concerned that it will be another mistake. And insurance won't cover a second prescription for this month.

Never had these before, picked them up a few days ago... I have taken generic for years, no terrible side effects. The last few days I've had horrible migraines after taking whatever this medication is. Definitely check with the pharmaceutical tech before filling your prescription– If they're white, it ain't right!
