I’ve been on 30mg citalopram for nearly 8 weeks. I’ve had a few good days but get anxiety every day. Is this normal!!!

Have you spoken to your doctor about this? It takes 6-8 weeks for the medication to become fully effective... but for some people it may take a bit longer.
There are several options:
Switching to a different medication.
Increasing your dosage.
Adding on a booster medication such as Abilify or Rexulti.
Since it seems to have given you some improvement the drug is probably working but not enough yet. At this point the dosage increase or essence of a little more time are probably in order.
Give your doctor a call and get their advice, okay?

I think I’ll give it a bit more time.
My doctor would just give me anything. I’m going to change GP.
I’m going to give it one more week.
