I wouldn't suggest you take amoxicillin for a yeast infection.. Amoxicillin will probably give you a yeast infection.. I was prescribed Amoxicillin for an infection and wound up with a terrible yeast infection.. So I wouldn't suggest doing that.. You can find OTC drug's at any pharmacy, that can treat your YI. Just ask the pharmacist..
Right this well do no good and not a good Idea to take someone elses medication, You can go to any pharmacy and get the pharmacist to help you find something for yeast infection if you can find the generic of what ever brand it is they get for you
Hi Mtvg, no, amoxicillin is an antibiotic for bacterial infections. They sell stuff for yeast infections over the counter at most all stores. You will want to pick up like the monistat 1 or 3 day course. Good luck and take care, Trkey
I will try that, Thank you for your time and help. Have a wonderful new year!!
