Is there an alternative medicine to clomipramine (Anafranil)? One that is stronger but pretty much does the same as clomipramine?
What is an alternative to clomipramine?

Looking for an new OCD drug that's close to clompraine which had worked well for me but lost its effectiveness after a couple of years
Some alternatives may be the following:
Abilfy
Seroquel
Tramadol
Minocycline
Luvox
The main alternative would be SSRIs.

I suffer from ocd, too.
Remeron (mirtazapine) is an atypical antidepressant for the treatment of mdd (major depressive disorder). Off label use: ocd, gad, insomnia (it has strong sedative properties), ptsd and migraines.
Everyone reacts differently to medications as you are aware, for me it worked pretty well for ocd and insomnia, it may or may not be an option for you.
Thank you your advice, I'll ask my doctor about it
