This pill is good on preventing pregnancy. I've been on it for 4 months and was scared to try it. But I don't get sick, my periods are about 5 days, and everything is good except my acne. I used to get some breakouts on my back and shoulders and that's totally gone but my face has gotten pretty bad. I'm going to switch to a lower hormone one because my face has never been this bad before.
As far as birth control, it is an extremely effective contraceptive pill! Never got any severe side effects; some nausea the first week, but that's about it. Also, my periods are about the same flow wise, but very little cramping, about 4 days long instead of 5. I used to have awful skin, and now it is clear! The only thing that happened when I went on this medication that may be displeasing to others is that I gained about 30 pounds. My varying weight before was 106-110, and now I am between 130-136lbs.
I had no complications with this birth control other than minor nausea in the mornings. If I missed one and took it too close to another one in the same day, I would be throwing up. I probably needed a lower dosage. I did quit for other personal reasons about 2 months ago and have had anxiety. I've been fearful, scared, depressed, and feeling really weird and its not me! I feel I can't control it and really believe it to be the birth control since my hormones are unbalanced now. I've read from other woman that it gets better after a few months and I so hope that is true. I'm debating if I want to go back on it to regulate my hormones and period, because since its been some time, I don't want to get sick.

I've been on it now for a month and I've been very moody, angry, and just wanting to be by myself. I've gained 5 extra pounds, but as far as acne goes its been clear. I've been getting really bad headaches, and wanting to throw up after I eat. It seems like I've gotten all the side effects.

I've been on this for about 7 months and this is my first time taking birth control, but it has lighten my periods but I've gain some weight. My boyfriend has notice I get moody really easy and I get very emotional out of no where. it made me break out a little more but it went away and is clearing a lot more now. One thing I've notice is since taking this pill I've had some memory loss. I do like this brand because it's lighten my period and I haven't gotten pregnant and I'm 18 and my periods only last from 4 maybe 5 days but before they lasted from 7-10 days.
I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for 2 weeks now. I've lost my appetite, I've had bloating, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and I'm very moody. I thought I just ate something bad but after reading the reviews from other girls, I think it's the birth control and I think I'm going to stop taking this birth control.
I loved Tri-Sprintec. It cleared my acne, my periods were regular, no cramping. I even recommend my friends to try it. I'm so glad Tri-Sprintec worked for me.
It seemed that side effects were mild at first, but emotional liability has been worsening over the past couple months. Anger, apathy, excessive crying, irrational and unpredictable moods, lots of fatigue. Throw in heart palpitations and five extra pounds and I finally made the decision to switch; picked up a different oral contraceptive prescription today. I'm sure hoping for a dramatic change!
I've been on Tri sprintec for about 3 or 4 years. It regulated my period and made my cramps disappear. I can pinpoint when I'm getting my period to the day since my second month on it. I had to skip a month one time but the next month my period went back to the schedule it has been on for years. it cleared up my acne as well, but took a couple months.
I've been taking this birth control for four years and I started taking it when I was 16. It was my first brand of birth control and I plan to stick with it until I want to start trying for children. I have never had much of an acne problem, but with this pill my face is always clear. I never had any of the nausea others have written about. I do have to agree that like others my cup size has grown over time and I am pleased! As far as weight goes I don't believe this pill has changed me at all. I have stayed the same weight since high school. My hormones are crazy only the week before my period.
Overall this is a great medication for some and a not so great medication for others. I would not blow it off right away. I would give it a shot.

I switched to Tri-Sprintec because I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo and it was getting too expensive. I was terrified after reading reviews so thought I needed to post mine saying I noticed no change. I've always had blemishes so I don't blame Tri-Sprintec for that. It's not any worse. No bleeding, period the same time and length and flow as before. No moodiness or cramps. My experience (two months so far) is that I feel like I'm still on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, my side effects didn't change at all but I'm saving so much money!

This is my third month and it works great. Periods are more regular. I have super dry skin but since I've taken this is been better. No acne. It's perfect. No weight gain if anything, I've lost weight. Which isn't exactly good for me snce usually i weigh 110 but I won't complain. The only problem I have with this is when I take the first week I throw up sometimes. But only when i don't eat after taking it. So I'd recommend having a snack if you start to feel nauseous, it's only happened to me twice but it's just not a good feeling. Everyone is different though so don't let that scare you.
I was on TriSprintec for over 3 years now. Within those years I gained 30 pounds and my cup size has tripled. It also caused bad mood swings. Only good thing from it was that it kept my skin very clear!
I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for 2 years and the only time I experienced any side effects was the first month and it was nausea around my period. But since then my periods have been like clock work and light, I haven't gotten pregnant, my acne is totally under control, and my breasts have increased a little. This is the best I've ever taken.
I am a week into my third month on Tri-sprintec. After the first pack my period was a little crazy (more heavy and a few days longer than usual). By the end of my second month everything was back to normal. My periods are regular now, I'm not pregnant and I've had no side effects. So far I am very happy with it.

When I was on this, I was pretty moody and I had no appetite for anything. I always get so angry and sad. Another thing was I always get nausea and I wouldn't eat anything. I lost a lot of weight on this. I was on it for a month and I lost about 8lbs. I am now on Tri-Nessa and so far its okay.

I just started taking TriSprintec two days ago. I take the pill at 10pm everynight, as recommended by my doctor. The only side effects I've come across is being more emotional than usual - getting upset and crying over things I normally wouldn't cry over, and a slightly increased appetite. Hopefully these side effects will go away eventually. All in all it hasn't given me too many problems.
I've been on this pill for 4 months and haven't experienced any symptoms. It made my acne disappear a little. I noticed I have none on my chest now. I do not take the placebos so I don't have a period. I didn't gain weight. Maybe a little nausea the past month. Maybe a little more sensitive in my mood.
I'm 18 and I've been on this pill for 1 year now and at first it was for my irregular periods. It was the first birth control my doctor put me on. In the first week I noticed my breasts were sore but it lasted 1 day and I havent had it since. My periods were 12 days long and heavy. Now my periods are 5 days and I hardly notice my cramps. I'm not moody unless I'm PMSing..I've never had any negative side affects.. I would reccomend this pill to young people who dont have insurance or their first time on a birth control...AND! I have not gotten pregnant.

This is my third type of birth control, and I was scared to try. The other two left me depressed and overly tired. I have found the side effects of Tri-Sprintec tolerable.
1. My skin has cleared up.
2. I have gained weight as upon starting this birth control I was ALWAYS hungry, but going to the gym has started to help in losing it.
3. I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, and have not had issues stemming from that problem since starting Tri-Sprintec.
I've been on Tri Sprintec for 3 months now and noticed sickness and nausea the first week of taking these pills. Then it got better but I still feel a little sick sometimes in the morning. I never had bad acne but I did notice it getting better after taking these pills. I noticed I went from barely a 32 C cup to a full 34 C. During my period my breasts get slightly smaller then go back to normal when its over. I used to have a 6-12 day period, now it only lasts 4 days. I am 122 pounds and I maybe gained 4 pounds when taking these pills. I'm 18 and these are the first pills I tried but I will be getting on another kind of birth control in a few months to have less side effects. Otherwise its pretty good.
I have been taking this birth control for two years now. I never got sick from it and haven't gotten pregnant. I have been very sexually active for the past year or so. It does make me kind of not in the mood to have sex, but it works!
