Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: You know, I have to say that reading most these reviews scared me but I went ahead and took Tri-Sprintec anyway after being automatically switched from Tri-Cyclen Lo and I am not experiencing any side effects. I don't even notice a difference so my advice to other people is to try it out and not base your opinion on these reviews because each women's body will react differently to any prescription medicine and you will never know if it's a fit for you until you give it a try.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Within the 1st week I went from a happy optimistic girl, to a very unhappy, unstable individual. My experience: crying for no reason, complete misery, severe weight gain, anti-social, exhausted, nauseous, dry eyes, high anxiety, NO sex drive, painful sex, cramping, bloating, irrational behavior...

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Tri-Sprintec for 4 months now and it is great. I had been on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo before, but switched because it was so expensive. I have had absolutely no problems with either pill. No headaches, no nausea, no weight gain, no breakout problems, and best of all no pregnancy. On Tri-Sprintec my periods are slightly shorter than they used to be, and I hardly have any cramps now, whereas without birth control pills I had terrible cramps for the first two days of my period. I am not moody, either. I would recommend this pill to anyone currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, or anyone at all for that matter.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am completely satisfied with this pill. Unless you have really bad side effects I wouldn't listen to reviews of people that have been on it for few days only. You have to give your body time to adjust to hormones that you put in, 3-4 months. I am happy with this pill, no side effects at all. It regulated my periods, I know when they're coming and they're short. It keeps my skin clear. No weight gain, slightly bigger breasts but not complaining. No depression, headaches, hair loss or breast soreness. It only costs me $9.99...can't beat that! This pill works perfectly for me.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am 28 years old. I have never felt any side effects from any birth control I have ever taken. My Doctor, however, switched me to this one because of the price I assume. Since I began taking it a month ago, I have been extremely emotional, crying when I'm happy, crying when I am sad. My mood swings are having an affect on my relationship, my kids and husband, as I am less patient and more tired. My face is also breaking out, which normally only happens when I am PMSing the week before my period. I called my doctor today to switch me off of this. I am only stating my experience, to reassure others if having the same side effects that it is not you coming down with depression. It is only the pill.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: This is my third type of birth control pill over the last 4 years. I've gone on and off birth control, mostly because I'm not sexually active very much unless I have a boyfriend. Currently I'm on my 5th packet.
Pros:
CHEAP! $9 at Wal-Mart
No taste
Easy to swallow.
Periods reduced to 4-5 days when they were lasting 7-8 days before.
Cons:
Bad nausea and headaches on the first 3 packets.
Slight breast tenderness upon resuming a new packet. Usually only lasts for a couple days.
Delayed periods. On my old birth control I would get them the next day after stopping a packet but now it takes 3-4 days for it to start.
Painful cramps for the first day of period.
Overall, I'd recommend it. All types of birth control will give you some of these side effects.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I took tri-sprintec for almost 3 years. Finally last year as a freshman in college i quit taking it- realizing then only how much i hated it. Tri-sprintec did reduce my cramps and bloating but it made me very moody and irritable. I felt angry a lot and did not realize this until i quit taking the pill. I also gained about 8 pounds with in the first month and my appetite was way up, i was hungry all the time. To make matters worse, my hair started falling out / I was shedding a ton, my hair got a lot thinner. My breasts which are already inconveniently large got even bigger.I feel awful that i put up with this medicine for almost three years- I was naive and thought that these were unavoidable side affects, I would never recommend this pill.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Well I'm an 18 year old teen just trying to be safe and smart, but continue a normal life with little side affects and this pill definitely did that for my twin sister and I. We love it. It's small and easy to swallow. No mood swings, no cramps, no sleepiness, or confusing abnormal bleeding that worries you for days it's wonderful. We both recommend this to whoever is looking for a reliable contraceptive pill.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo for nearly 10 years and hated the thought of switching pills (insurance purposes). I started Tri-Sprintec about 5 months ago and I cannot tell the difference between the two. I was concerned with the nausea, vomiting and weight gain that others talked about but had none. My face is still clear as ever, my periods are still very light and I feel fine! Definitely worth the change!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I was 17 when I started on this pill because I had cysts on my ovaries. This pill is a good pill and not a bad one like a lot of the women are saying. This pill has the same side effects as all the other pills do. Yes, I gained weight at first, but now I am back to my normal size because my body regulated it. The leaflets say you may not feel well the first 1-3 packs. It's because your body has to regulate it!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate): I haven't necessarily experienced any adverse physical changes since I started taking this pill. No weight gain, no change in acne, my breasts are still the same size... However, I have transformed into a complete grouch. Although no one seems to notice, other than myself, I have been an emotional wreck. One minute I'm ecstatic, the next minute I'm tempted to rip my boyfriend's head off. I don't recommend this pill.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I have been on Tri Sprintec for 7 years and have overall had no problems with it. I started taking it to clear up my severe acne. I had been to dermatologist after dermatologist and had been on every cream and pill to treat my acne and nothing worked until I got on Tri Sprintec. I did not gain any weight, my skin cleared up, my periods were regulated, I did not experience any spotting or anything like that. I am changing birth control pills after this pack due to longer periods. My period had always been about 6-7 days but the past few months it has been 10-12 days. I'm not sure if the lengthened period is due to the Tri Sprintec but I never had any problems with it until recently. I would recommend Tri Sprintec to anyone.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I got Tri Sprintec as a birth control but I should have gone on it a long time ago to regulate periods. I love being able to predict when I'll start bleeding and I love that it has shortened my periods (Now it is six days).
I had been on doxycycline for acne but it conflicted with the pill so I stopped. The first month of Tri Sprintec I was worried because I didn't stop bleeding. After the first month though, I've had no problems and no irregular bleeding. I've been on it for half a year.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I started taking birth control at 18 years old, I am now 25. I was on Ortho-Tri-Cyclen for about 5 years, did great on it. Due to insurance I had to switch to Trinessa, heavier periods and more mood swings followed. Now the pharmacy gave my Tri-Sprintec because they don't carry Trinessa. I am on day 8 and am getting more nauseous by the day. The Pharmacist assured me that Trinessa and Tri-Sprintec are the exact same medicines, just made by two different manufacturers, but I have never felt so nauseous in my life. I know pregnancy is not even a consideration because my period just ended the week I started taking the Tri-Sprintec. I will be switching back to Trinessa next month, no matter the cost! Hope this helps someone with similar situation!

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I've been on Tri-Sprintec for 1.5 months now. The plus is that Tri-Sprintec doesn't make me want to put a period to my life, like my last birth control did! Side effects include bad nausea for the first month, and my period randomly started too early just yesterday (2nd week of my 2nd month). But overall, I'm satisfied - no major weight gain that I can tell, and no acne. I'm planning to wait 3-4 months to see whether the side effects level out. I join with others in saying that every woman's body is different. Read these posts to get a sense of some common side effects, but don't panic if something different happens, and be glad if nothing happens at all! Call your doctor to make sure your symptoms aren't anything to worry about.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I switched from Yaz (I was on it for 2 years) to Tri-Sprintec this month because of all the warnings. I think I would have rather suffered the blood clots and heart attacks than gone on this if I knew what was going to happen! About a week in I started getting really REALLY bad acne (just in time for spring semester!) like worse than I've ever had. And not just on my face, on my back and chest too, which hasn't happened since middle school. I've gained a lot of weight in the worst places even though I've been going to the gym more and eating better and I SWEAR my breast size has actually gone down. I feel so unattractive I don't even want my boyfriend to touch me.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Trisprintec was the first birth control pill I used. I choose it because I was told it would help with acne. (And obviously as a contraceptive). At first, TriSprintec was good for me, it helped my acne (it didn't completely go away) and my boobs got bigger! And well, I wasn't pregnant. However, after two months I began to notice myself having mood swings. This was so strange for me because I am such a relaxed, chill person. I couldn't ignore that I was moody. Little irrelevant things that happened with my boyfriend would make me very sad/mad and well. I don't think I've ever cried as much as I did when I was on this. It was beginning to interfere with my relationship, so I stopped taking it. This was just me, so it may be different for you.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I am currently 19, in good health, not taking other medicines, have been tested negative for STD's, and sexually active with one partner only. I am taking birth control mainly as a contraceptive and partly to regulate my irregular periods. I have just completed my first week on Tri-Sprintec and have not experienced any significant changes. I have not had any mood swings in the past week, nor experienced drops/spikes in libido. No significant weight gain in this past week, however I do feel my sports bras tightening up. (Hopefully my breasts are growing?) No breast tenderness. No change in appetite. Complexion looks better if not the same. I will continue to share my experience with this pill. Currently very happy with it.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Being a 1st time user of birth control I was hesitant. I'm very fearful of the side effects that come with all birthcontrols (like heart attack and stroke), but after a brief discussion with my doctor I realized the pros out weighed the cons and was willing to give Tri-Sprintec a shot. I'm not sexually active so my biggest concern isn't getting pregnant however I have moderate acne which I've tried treating with prescriptions and over the counter medicines. I also suffer with PMDD which has made my life miserable since I was 14. Since I've completed my 2nd week of pills I must say I am overjoyed. No PMDD complications and my acne is getting better. As far as side effect I did have headaches the 1st 3 days. Every thing else has been smooth.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Endometriosis: I have endometriosis and I've struggled for years to find a birth control pill that would help with the pain and irregular/heavy bleeding. I even tried the shot, which was disastrous. Tri-Sprintec, while it doesn't completely take away my symptoms, is the best that I've found for me. So, until they find a better pill, this is my choice for oral contraceptives.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: Tri-Sprintec was my first birth control. I'm 15 and I'd never had a regular period until this contraceptive. I haven't had any side effects except for breast sensitivity but even that hasn't been severe. My periods are also shorter, they used to be 6-7 days but now they are 4. I definitely love this birth control and will be sticking to it for a while.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: In the beginning of December, I had an abortion and waited 3 weeks until after the procedure to start taking this pill. Although I was slightly nauseous in the beginning, my skin (which got pretty bad during my pregnancy) started marginally improving and to my surprise my mood was perfectly fine. I've been on 2 different birth controls (Estrostep - which made me puke, and yaz, which made me want to go on a homicidal rampage and/or jump off of a cliff). I'm having a much better experience on Tri- Sprintec. I did get a little snippy during the 3rd week BUT I'm usually much worse when I'm not on birth control so this wasn't a change for the worse. Plus, I got my period when I was supposed to with no breakthrough bleeding, despite the 3 week delay.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate): Second birth control I've been on, and I've been on it for over a year. It gives me the worst headaches and acne. I put on about 10lbs and CANNOT get rid of it. I feel disgusting. My boobs didn't get any bigger. My periods are always right on schedule and never heavy but the rest of the month is a roller coaster with my emotions, weight, etc.

Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: I agree with the other ladies when they say -try it for yourself. I have never tried any other contraceptive, but I've had a great experience with Tri-sprintec. Of course the first month or two I had the nausea and I still wasn't "regular," but after those few months it's been smooth sailing. I have been on it for around 1 1/2 years now and it's been very successful. I haven't gotten pregnant, I know exactly when my cycle is going to start and end, and you cannot beat the price! I highly recommend it!
Tri-Sprintec (ethinyl estradiol/ norgestimate) for Birth Control: This is like the best ever. I've been using it for a year. I haven't got pregnant yet!
