Important warnings
This medicine can cause some serious health issues

Tell your doctor if you use other medicines or have other medical conditions or allergies.
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have:

seeing flashes of light or "floaters" in your vision; or
-
severe vision problems, including vision loss.
Common side effects may include:

eye redness;

eye irritation after using the eye drops; or
-
dim or dark vision.

General adverse events
The most common adverse reactions included instillation site irritation, dim vision, and headache. The majority of adverse reactions were mild, transient, and self-resolving.[Ref]
Nervous system
- Very common (10% or more): Headache (13%)
Ocular
- Very common (10% or more): Instillation site irritation (20%), dim vision (16%)
- Common (1% to 10%): Conjunctival hyperemia, ocular hyperemia
Other miotics:
- Frequency not reported: Retinal tear and detachment
Rare cases of retinal tear and detachment have been reported with miotics when used in susceptible individuals and those with preexisting-existing retinal disease.
