Usual Adult Dose for Plague Prophylaxis
1 mL IM followed by a second dose of 0.2 mL 1 month later. A third dose of 0.2 mL is administered 5 months after the second dose.
Booster doses of 0.2 mL can be administered at 1 to 2 year intervals if exposure continues.
