Usual Adult Dose for Meningococcal Meningitis Prophylaxis
Up to 25 years of age: 0.5 mL IM for 2 doses, administered 6 months apart
Use: Active immunization to prevent invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, B, C, W, and Y
Usual Pediatric Dose for Meningococcal Meningitis Prophylaxis
10 years of age and older: 0.5 mL IM for 2 doses, administered 6 months apart
Use: Active immunization to prevent invasive disease caused by N meningitidis serogroups A, B, C, W, and Y

Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Known history of severe allergic reactions (e.g., anaphylaxis) to the active component, other diphtheria toxoid-containing vaccines, or any of the ingredients
- History of a severe allergic reaction after a previous dose of this vaccine
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 10 years.

Administration advice:
- Administer IM in the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.
- Use immediately after reconstitution.
Storage requirements:
- Store refrigerated between 2C to 8C (36F to 46F); protect from light.
- Do not freeze. Discard if the vaccine has been frozen.

- Do not dilute.
