Usual Adult Dose for Cough and Nasal Congestion
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 15 mg-100 mg-5 mg/5 mL oral syrup: 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 20 mg-100 mg-10 mg/5 mL oral syrup: 5 to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 20 mg-100 mg-12.5 mg/5 mL oral liquid: 5 to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 60 mg-600 mg-15 mg oral tablet, extended release: 1 to 2 tablets orally every 12 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 30 mg-200 mg-8 mg/5 mL oral liquid: 5 to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 30 mg-400 mg-10 mg oral tablet: 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Usual Pediatric Dose for Cough and Nasal Congestion
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 20 mg-100 mg-10 mg/5 mL oral syrup:
12 yrs and older: 5 to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
6 to 11 yrs: 5 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
2 to 5 yrs: 2.5 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 15 mg-100 mg-5 mg/5 mL oral syrup:
12 yrs and older: 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 60 mL in 24 hours.
6 to 11 yrs: 5 mL every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 30 mL in 24 hours.
2 to 5 yrs: 2.5 mL every 4 to 6 hours, not to exceed 15 mL in 24 hours.
carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 60 mg-600 mg-15 mg oral tablet, extended release:
12 yrs and older: 1 to 2 tablets orally every 12 hours.
6 to 11 yrs: 0.5 to 1 tablet orally every 12 hours.
Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine 30 mg-200 mg-8 mg/5 mL oral liquid:
12 yrs and older: 5 to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
6 to 11 yrs: 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
