Carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine has not formally been assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. The manufacturer recommends that carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine not be administered to pregnant women.

There are no data on the excretion of carbetapentane/guaifenesin/phenylephrine into human milk.
