Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Renal Dysfunction
A reduced dose of peramivir is recommended for patients with creatinine clearance below 50 mL/min. Dose adjustment is not required for a single administration of peramivir for patients with creatinine clearance of 50 mL/min or higher. In patients with chronic renal impairment maintained on hemodialysis, peramivir should be administered after dialysis at a dose adjusted based on renal function.
