Major Potential Hazard, High plausibility. Applicable conditions: Burns - External
Percutaneous and/or transmucosal absorption during use on generalized dermatologic conditions has resulted in CNS toxicity such as irritability and seizures. Hexachlorophene should not be applied to burned or denuded skin, used as occlusive dressing or routinely for total body washing, as a vaginal pack, or on any mucous membrane.
