Epcoritamab can cause serious and fatal infections. Patients should be evaluated for active infection prior to epcoritamab treatment and administration should be avoided if infection is detected. Consider initiating prophylaxis against herpes virus and pneumocystis jiroveci fungus prior to starting treatment to prevent herpes zoster reactivation and pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia infection.
