Major Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Infection - Bacterial/Fungal/Protozoal/Viral
Severe infections, including fatal infections have occurred in patients after infusion with elivaldogene autotemcel. Patients should be monitored for infection before and during treatment, and prophylactic antimicrobials may need to be administered according to clinical guidelines. Administration of elivaldogene autotemcel should be avoided in patients with active infections.
Elivaldogene autotemcel (applies to elivaldogene autotemcel) HIV
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: HIV Infection
Elivaldogene autotemcel has not been studied in patients with HIV. A negative serology test for HIV is necessary before the collection of cells, to ensure acceptance of apheresis material for elivaldogene autotemcel manufacturing. Material for patients with a positive HIV test, will not be accepted for manufacturing.
Elivaldogene autotemcel (applies to elivaldogene autotemcel) hepatic impairment
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Liver Disease
Elivaldogene autotemcel has not been studied in patients with hepatic impairment. Patients should be assessed for hepatic impairment to ensure that hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation is appropriate.
Elivaldogene autotemcel (applies to elivaldogene autotemcel) renal impairment
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Renal Dysfunction
Elivaldogene autotemcel has not been studied in patients with renal impairment. Patients should be assessed for renal impairment, to ensure that hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation is appropriate.
