Major Potential Hazard, High plausibility. Applicable conditions: Uveitis
The use of dapiprazole is contraindicated in patients with acute iritis. Dapiprazole blocks the alpha-adrenergic receptors in smooth muscle and produces miosis. Miosis production is undesirable in patients with acute iritis.
