For Herbal Supplementation "I have taken 2 shark cartilage capsules daily for 3 years for the arthritis in the base of my thumb. It helps greatly. I had to stop all my supplements before my recent foot surgery. I took the opportunity to observe how I did without it. The pain is more and more frequent, for sure. I am still testing things, though, so I'm using glucosamine now. It's only been a week, so I don't know if it is effective yet."
