Pembrolizumab "I had a really, really bad reaction to chemo and was changed over to Keytruda, 134 dosage done by my weight. I’ve had very little side effects… I’ve done 12 or 35 treatments, I’m a little tired the first week. My tumor (dMMR) was located at the cecum and was removed in emergency surgery, 8” colon and 22” intestine and 19 lymph nodes. I am 3B with it metastasized into my lymph nodes around my aorta artery. My CT scans show it’s working. I’m very happy with my treatment so far and hope I continue."

Pembrolizumab "I was prescribed KEYTRUDA for stage 4 colon cancer. I had no problems with the infusions, but after the first infusion, had to have emergency surgery for a blocked colon. The surgeon commented after the surgery that she saw widespread evidence of cancer cell death. I continued on my Keytruda regimen for 8 more months with excellent results. I was listed as no evidence of disease after one year. Unfortunately, at this point, I developed acute pancreatitis. At this point, I was told that we would discontinue treatment and monitor."

Pembrolizumab "It stopped the cancer, but didn't reverse it. It kicks your butt for about 4 days. You don't do much, just lay around. After the 4 days, you get to feeling better. I get out and work around the house after that. I'm taking it every 3 weeks. It sure beats chemo and radiation. I'll die before I go through that again. Key advice: do your research, don't trust anyone."

Pembrolizumab "My doctor tried this after everything else has failed. It didn't work, in fact, it did nothing good whatsoever. My CEA went from 479 to over 2000, the highest it has been since I got cancer in 2016. It might work for some, but I haven't heard of it benefitting anyone. Good luck to those who use it."

"Worked well on reducing the size of tumors in the first 6 cycles. But then I started getting lots of stomach problems, and vomiting. I have lost 10 kg in weight. I have been hoping that since stopping the trial in August 2017, the effects would go away, to date, Oct 30, 2017, not so. However, initially, it did seem a miracle drug that the tumors responded so well. However, I have more tumors progressing now, so it clearly stopped responding."

"I had colon cancer and metastatic at stage 3B. 1 cycle = 8x od Xelox was given to me but not longer working. Start from CEA 27 (before I did the operation on my colon, there are metastases on 4 of my lymph nodes) and after finishing the Xelox cycles, the CEA level going up to 510. After this treatment failed, I decided to change my oncologist as she wouldn't stop using Xelox and I wanted to try to use Keytruda (pembrolizumab) for 100 ml every 3 weeks. My weight is 53 kg. Before I started the first Keytruda, I don't know why the CEA level has been going down to 358. So I started from a CEA of 358. She has given me 3x Keytruda. She gave me every 3 weeks. My doctor advised me to take this immunotherapy Keytruda treatment for 8x-16x (dependent on future situation). And now after the 3rd treatment, the result of my CEA level shows going down to 20.58. Every treatment going down until 50% of CEA level. I hope before I finish this treatment for 8x (now I am having the 4th treatment) it will go down to the NORMAL range."

"For the most part, my cancer is clearing up after 6 months of treatment. My thyroid is shot, I'm now on 50 mg Synthroid, I'm very tired, weak, fatigued most of the time, can't get in the direct sunlight because it stings, and could have a severe skin rash. I'm happy that my tumor went from 11 cm down to 7. Small hot spots have gone completely. Would I do it again, absolutely. It's a miracle drug!"
