For Influenza "I work as an ER case manager; there were many cases of influenza. Somehow I became exposed without even doing any patient care. Wednesday chills started; Thursday at work I had an itchy throat and thought it was allergies. Friday I had increased congestion, cold-like symptoms, malaise, and body aches; I sent myself home early. Went to urgent care, felt sick as a dog, knew fever was coming, waited 1 and a 1/2 hours with a mask on and a snotty nose. Tested positive for influenza A, filled my expensive Tamiflu prescription; the next day, fever gone but very tired with upper respiratory issues. Come Monday feeling better, stronger but still taking breathing treatments. Med works but has difficulty with those who have asthma or other respiratory diagnoses."

For Influenza "Mild body aches on Sunday night. Monday, aches really increased and a mild headache began. Went to bed Monday night, woke at 2 am with fever, chills, sweating profusely (soaked sheets), stomach ache, and severe headache. Tuesday, I went to urgent care-flu diagnosed. Tamiflu ordered 1 capsule twice daily for 5 days. After 3 doses (with food), the headache is gone, stomach ache gone, body aches very minimal. Get to the doc when the body aches start. I did take other things with the Tamiflu (I am not affiliated with any supplement company): I also took Echinacea, Stress 'B' Complex vitamin, and garlic supplement once a day. Also, have been drinking eight 8 oz glasses of water each day. I think some of the low reviews here must mean the person began taking Tamiflu beyond that critical 48-hour window. Feel better, everyone."

For Influenza "I went to sleep a little more tired than usual. The next morning, my throat was sore, my body ached, my head was pounding, and I could slowly feel it working its way into my chest. I went right to the doctor because I could feel that it was more than just a cold. He prescribed Tamiflu and azithromycin after taking my temperature at 102.3. It's been 2 days so far, and I'm feeling 70%, and the flu never had the chance to continue into my chest because Tamiflu stopped it from spreading further. Would definitely use again!"

For Influenza "Woke up Thursday, and my throat hurt. By the end of the day, it was on fire, and I had chills, sweats, fever, and coughing. Friday felt like I was hit by a bus. Sweated all night with intermittent chills. Couldn't swallow anything. Nothing OTC was working. Went to my doctor appointment. Doctor prescribed Tamiflu without hesitation because apparently when you're pregnant, you can get sick fast (no kidding). Took it Friday night and Saturday morning, thus far, no relief of anything. Throat is still on fire, can't swallow anything. The only thing that helps are hot liquids. Stuffed-up nose, cough, mucus, chills, fever, sweats, body aches, yep, have it all still. Meds are the grossest tasting I have ever had. Was told to open the capsule and place it in food like pudding... almost vomit every time."

For Influenza "At the onset of flu symptoms, I made an appointment to see the doctor the next morning. I started taking Tamiflu an hour later, so it was definitely less than 36 hours before the onset of symptoms. I experienced some fever, chills, aches, headache, sore throat, and congestion for 2 days, and then felt much better each day after that. I am amazed at how quickly the flu resolved."

For Influenza "I became very ill with severe vomiting, diarrhea, headache, fever, chills, aches, exhaustion... and I had a 5-month-old baby to take care of. All this despite the flu shot. Twelve hours after the initial onset, my doctor diagnosed me with the flu and prescribed Tamiflu. It slowly got better, and two days later I am somewhat functional... which is good, because now I have to take care of my baby and my sick husband. We'll be getting him Tamiflu, too!"

For Influenza "Symptoms started Monday. Confirmed flu test and started Tamiflu Wednesday. I just took my third dose, and my fever has gone down from 103 Wednesday to 99 Thursday. I agree with the really vivid wild dreams and sleeping 3 hours at a time. Also, my taste and smell are almost completely gone. I am not sure if all of that is from Tamiflu or maybe it's just effects of the flu virus. Regardless, I feel much less achy, headachy, and fatigued. Also, I am not sweating buckets anymore. I am satisfied with the medicine."

For Influenza "This is the second time my son has been on Tamiflu for type B influenza in three years. My husband and I decided to give it a try the first time, and it worked so well. This second time, when the doctor asked us if I wanted to give him the medicine, I knew I would. The main symptom that it helped with was his stuffy nose, sore throat, and body aches. Within one day last time, he was up and about. This time, I see a difference starting two days after taking. His fever was 102.3 for two solid days, and it's down to normal. This only works if you start taking it within 24 hours after first symptoms begin. It will not work any later because of the way the flu progresses in the body."

For Influenza "I’m on the 3rd dose of 10 currently. Tested positive for influenza type A with fever (102+) and heavy body aches/extreme tiredness. First dose: took before bed on night 1. Woke up feeling MUCH better. Second dose: 9:30 am today. Some headache and some body aches, no other side effects. Third dose: just now. Took it with a big meal and tons of ice water. I was very nervous about the nausea side effect (I hate throwing up) and the mental effects. No issues thus far. Got a great night's sleep last night too, likely because being off work with the flu gave me a chance to slow down mentally."
