"Naphcon-A might help some people, but in my case, I became addicted to it over a period of years. An alert optician realized this, and as I have blepharitis, put me on a self-management program of caring for my eyes and advised me to stop using Naphcon-A immediately. I stopped using Naphcon-A that day, and the alarming redness of my eyes reduced over a period of a few days. I no longer look as though I have just been crying, and I don’t need to use Naphcon-A anymore."

"Very effective for red eyes/itching, but very harsh. Eyes have a 'rebound' effect where they will be redder after use (e.g., next day), so they are classified as addictive."

"Excellent resource for red eye and hydration over the counter. Better than Opcon A."

"Best ever used for years, no bad effects, 1 drop lasts 12 hrs for red eyes, I recommend without hesitation."

"Naphcon-A has always helped with my itchy eyes from indoor and outdoor allergies. My optometrist gave me a list of over-the-counter eye drops to use, and I have wasted a lot of money with very little relief."
