"Well, I have these dark blemishes on my skin. And I was given Tri-Luma. It's been just 2 days with this Tri-Luma cream, and now my cheeks (the area where I applied the cream) are as red as tomatoes. The blemishes have gone darker, and it itches and burns as if someone has put hot chili paste over them. It hurt and looked so bad that I felt like hiding inside my room till it doesn't go away. Also, I've noticed that the blemishes remained the same, but the area surrounding it has become brighter. I already have uneven skin tone, and now this... it just didn't suit me at all! I hope I do recover from it soon though."

For Melasma "My melasma finally got me to the point where I had to go to someone because all of the creams that I have tried over the past two years just did not prove to be effective. Upon going to the dermatologist, I was told that because this is a cosmetic condition, it would not be covered under insurance, so Tri-Luma was recommended before I moved on to possibly laser treatment. I was able to get the prescription at a discounted price of $200 and began using it immediately. At first, I felt that it was making positive strides until after a few days when my skin really began to turn red as a reaction. I began doing research and found that some people need to back off the medication a day or two in between use while your skin is getting used to the ingredients of the medication. I leveled off using it every other day for a while, and the results were astonishing after two months. Major change was noted. I am still using it and will see it through the entire recommended dosage."

For Melasma "When I started developing melasma on my upper lip, I felt completely self-conscious. I found out about Tri-Luma and went straight away to my doctor and asked him to prescribe me Tri-Luma, and he did. The price was $291 at Walgreens and was not covered by insurance, so I crossed the border and got the same exact tube for $37. I started using Tri-Luma as directed every single night, and using SPF 100 every morning. I didn’t notice a big difference the first month and I was a little disappointed, but I didn’t give up. I continued to use it every night and after exactly 7 weeks, my melasma is completely gone!! I am very happy with the results. I did experience redness, burning, and peeling, and that was very hard to cover up with makeup, but other than that, this cream works amazing..."
