For Birth Control "I started Taytulla because I had prolonged bleeding. I went to the E.R. and they gave me Provera pills until I could make an appointment with my OB. Well, the ER doc gave me 10 pills, which stop my period instantly. Needless to say, the symptoms of those pills are heavy bleeding after you finish them, so here comes the bleeding again. My friend told me about the new b/c that she was taking and that I could use a back to stop my bleeding till I went to my doctor, and we weigh about the same, so I gave it a shot. I didn't experience symptoms till about three weeks on b/c. I had horrible headaches that felt like migraines, which I'm not a person that really has headaches. I would space out like I had tunnel vision, I was always tired, and I'm pretty energetic. I lost my appetite, my anxiety wasn't too bad, I started to get moody and depressed. I took myself off, I'd rather bleed than feel like a zombie. Everybody is different, though. I wouldn't recommend it, but to each its own!"

For Birth Control "I was skeptical about birth control pills (BCP) as I haven’t had the best luck with some of the others. I have been very pleased with Taytulla. My first month, my body had to adjust to the hormones, so my period was a little off, but very manageable. I had headaches in the first month, they are gone as well. I’m finishing my third month, and I’m very pleased with my period, my acne has decreased significantly, and I have not had any weird feelings or symptoms, like Yaz had given me. I’m glad that my OB recommended these for me."

For Birth Control "I've been on the same BC for 4 years. I had breakthrough bleeding, and my doctor switched me to Taytulla. She gave me a 3-month supply. I'm pretty sure doctors are being paid to give out samples. Went to the pharmacy to get the prescription, and it's $500 a month. Forget that! So I'm trying the 3 samples to see if I like it enough to get the generic. I've only done a month, and I've had bad mood swings, bad headaches, bad body acne I've never had before, super tender breasts, and vaginal discharge every day. I know when you start BC, you get symptoms, but I didn't expect this from going from one BC to another. I'll take a pregnancy test in a week to make sure I'm not pregnant and give it another month to see if any of this goes away. But so far, DO NOT take Taytulla."

For Birth Control "So far, this pill is horrible! I am finishing up month 2, and I am miserable. I have taken two of the previous versions, Generess FE and Minastrin FE, which were amazing. I had no period, no pain, and felt great. Since the company switched to the gel cap, I have bloated, cramping, and headaches for the whole two months. My period is back too, which is heavy and painful, and the original reason I started a pill. I've been back to my OBGYN to try and get off it. She talked me into trying it another two months. We'll see if I can handle this for two more months."

For Birth Control "Doc prescribed Taytulla to help regulate my premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). After being on medicine for 11 days, after having very regular periods for years and only spotting 2-3 times in my entire life. I had breakthrough bleeding after having my period a week and a half before. I had PMS food cravings, headache, cramps, and mood swings with uncontrollable crying that were off the charts and worse than my 'normal PMS' symptoms. In addition to the very depressing erratic mood swings, it exacerbated nerve issues in my spine, created burning down my legs, extreme back pain, which had been under control and feeling great for months, until I began taking medicine. This medicine is awful. Do not take if you have any form of mild depression. It also turned my urine brown. Lovely."

For Birth Control "I've never been on BC before and decided to explore options and was given this by my doctor to try. I started it on the first day of my period and throughout the day didn't feel any standard side effects (dizziness, nausea, headache, increased appetite, etc.). Unfortunately, things took a change for the worst - by that night I experienced intense itching, burning, and redness. The following day I decided to take it again just to be sure, and it only intensified. DO NOT TAKE THIS BC. Unfortunately, my doctor wasn't very receptive in prescribing me some of the options I had looked into (Yaz, Ortho-tricyclen, Yasmin) and kind of just shoved this down my throat to try. Definitely do your research!"

For Birth Control "I just started my 3rd month of Taytulla. I was on Lo Loestrin Fe, but it was a bad fit. During the first two months, I experienced some nausea, nothing too bad, and some headaches. I didn’t break out (yay!), and if anything, my skin looks even healthier than usual. I haven’t gained weight, and it has not increased my appetite. I could not give it a 10 because I feel it isn’t making the size difference in my breasts more substantial - if this goes away after the 3rd month, I will update this post. Hope this helps - I love it!"
