For Birth Control "I wanted to chime in because most of the people writing reviews had bad experiences. I doubt most people who are happy with a drug will go online to write a review. I took Loestrin and Minastrin for several years (bioequivalent to Taytulla), loved them both, switched to Taytulla about a year ago, don't notice any difference. For me, they are fantastic birth control. The ONLY side effects I have are going from 8-day heavy periods to no periods, no spotting ever, and clearing up the cystic acne I would get during ovulation and my period. Total win for me. I tried many different kinds of OC in my twenties and really didn't like any of them, so I feel so lucky to have found this in my late 30s. Everyone's body will respond differently."

For Birth Control "I’ve been on this pill, Taytulla, for 1 1/2 months. After 2 weeks, acne was becoming present. The acne started to get so bad that I didn’t want to leave the house. I started noticing I was tired all the time, my mood swings were frequent, I wasn’t myself. I missed my period entirely, which I was told by my doctor may happen. Two days ago, I was feeling light-headed, I got hot flashes, I didn’t have an appetite, and I felt extreme anxiety for no reason. I was terrified because I didn’t know what was happening to me. I had been on another birth control for 14 years (no issues) up until I had a baby two years ago, then I got on this. Worst decision. I stopped taking this halfway through the pill pack. The side effects are horrible. Based on my experience and these reviews, I would never recommend."

For Birth Control "I took Taytulla for around 8 months and honestly have no idea how I did it for that long. I went from Minastrin to Taytulla due to insurance issues and had the worst transition. I had severe depression, my anxiety was worse than it already is to the point where I would cry all the time, I had insane mood swings, I was always angry, headaches, acne, which I have never had in my life, and I gained weight. The depression was so bad to the point where I was suicidal. After that, I switched back to Minastrin and my life was so much better. Do not take this!!"

For Birth Control "Every woman is different, so everyone will have different reactions to Taytulla. I’m 18, and this was the first birth control I was put on. I was worried at first because I had read all these awful reviews, but so far, everything has been good! I’m about to start my third pack, and I haven’t noticed any major side effects. For the first few days, I broke out a little more than usual, but I found that my skin actually started clearing up after that. My only problem is that my period doesn’t come when it’s time to start taking the inactive pills. But since I’ve only been taking it for two months, I know that my body might not be completely synced up with it yet. My periods are lighter: I only bleed for one day, then it tapers off!"

For Birth Control "The first packet I went through required quite the adjustment. I bled the entire first month I was on this pill (probably because I was suffering from amenorrhea for almost 8 months), and I got some acne (I've never struggled with acne before, but this wasn't too serious). The bleeding/spotting stopped immediately when I began my second packet of Taytulla. The acne is still there, but it's not bad. I've also felt much more like myself emotionally since beginning this pill. When I go long periods of time without menstruating, I start becoming depressed and unmotivated. This pill has been great for solving several of my hormonal imbalances, and I plan on sticking with it."

For Birth Control "Taytulla has been super effective for me! I’ve tried dozens of birth controls, and this is the first one that’s cleared my acne and given me regular periods! I wouldn’t say I’ve gained any abnormal weight, I’ve only grown in breast size, which I’m okay with. But remember that this is a review personal to me, others say it’s the worst BC out there... everybody is different, and you shouldn’t rely on a website review to determine your BC."

For Birth Control "Most people leave reviews only if something is bad, so I figured I'd come to leave a positive review so fewer people are scared to try this birth control. I have only had positive experiences with this BC. I never had bad cramps or long periods before I took the pill, and this pill has kept it that way. I haven't gained weight, I haven't gotten more acne, and my mood hasn't changed. This pill works great for me."

"I was put on this pill after experiencing an ovarian cyst. I gave the pill time to adjust in my body, but after three months, I still had irregular periods with spotting for up to 10 days in a row in the middle of my cycle-followed by a heavy and painful period two weeks later. I am a very active person and work out 6 days a week, but could not lose weight to save my life on this pill. I probably gained 10-15 pounds since I started taking it 8 months ago. I also have pretty bad hormonal acne, and this did nothing to improve it-it may have even made it worse. I did not notice it totally at the time, but this pill definitely caused me bad moods and depression over the past 8 months. It also caused me to be constantly bloated. Just overall a terrible birth control for me. I just switched to Beyaz, which seems to have better reviews all around."

For Birth Control "At first, I was pretty hesitant to try Taytulla after all the horrific reviews I read. But I figured I would give it a shot. I tried Seasonique for over a year, I would get a lot of clotting while on that pill and gained about 25 pounds. I was also getting a lot of hormonal acne, so I decided to switch to Trinessa. Five months of Trinessa, my period was all out of whack, my acne was worsening, and I had terrible mood swings, which was not ideal. I switched to Taytulla after two months of this new birth control, my first period was very light, no headaches, my coworkers say I'm happier, and no cramps. I feel everyone's body is different, so hopefully, others don't think all the bad reviews will happen to them and that they try for themselves. Also, my insurance covered it at 100%."

For Birth Control "Y'all!!! So I had the worst experience with BC a few years back and haven't been on one since because I was so scared. I decided to give it another try years later, and my doctor prescribed me Taytulla. This BC is a life changer! Completely cleared up my acne, no mental side effects (this was a big one for me), no weight gain. I mean, this stuff truly is the best. At the beginning, my periods were very irregular but started regulating itself at pack 3. Sadly, my insurance doesn't cover it anymore, so I will be switching, but I am so sad about it. If you are scared to try birth control again like me, this is a good place to start!"

For Birth Control "I was almost too scared to try Taytulla after reading the horrific reviews, but I’m on month three and Taytulla has been working WONDERS!! I switched from a very high dosage birth control, and I was really scared my body would go whacky on this. My only side effects have been acne and more frequent headaches around the time of my bleed within the first two months, but it’s gotten so much better. My periods are really light and painless. My mood is so much more stable, my anxiety has decreased, I feel a lot more full of life and energy! This pill is the one for me. Everyone’s body responds to these medications differently, so don’t let bad reviews scare you away from giving this pill a try. So far, it has worked wonderfully for me!"

For Birth Control "I started taking this birth control around a month and a half ago. I'm also in a relationship, and ever since I've started taking it, I have been almost constantly overthinking everything, having anxiety, being extremely sad and upset, and crying for no reason. This pill has also started to give me acne again. With all of these side effects (the mood swings being the WORST and most prevalent), I need to stop taking it. I am typically a very, very happy and outgoing girl, but ever since taking this, I have been a hormonal mess. I don't want this birth control to be the reason I am overly emotional with my boyfriend and constantly creating problems that aren't there. Would not recommend."

For Birth Control "I am 39 years old and was put on Taytulla by my OB/GYN to regulate my cycle and stop breakthrough bleeding. I have had breakthrough bleeding for years with no answers. I've been taking Taytulla for 2 weeks now and stopped just two days ago because of unbearable lower abdomen cramping. The cramping and bleeding have been so severe that I can't even function with my regular day activities. I'm bleeding so severely with lots and lots of clots. I've never bled this much in my entire life where I'm having to change a pad every hour on the hour. Tampons can't even be used, I'm having to wear super huge pads for the heavy flow that feel like a diaper. I've developed acne in the past few days on my face. My mood has me down and depressed, and I just can't shake out of it. It's only been two days since I stopped Taytulla, and I have not noticed any change yet. I hope I start to feel better soon as this can't be life!"

For Birth Control "After being on Loestrin for 10 years, my OB switched me to Taytulla in July, and it’s now mid-October, and I have gained 20 pounds on a near-perfect diet, with weight lifting and cardio 5-6 days a week, with no changes to lifestyle except this awful pill. I’d rather have a period every 2 weeks than feel like this. Also, I have seen changes in my mood and acne, which I haven’t had since I took Accutane 6 years ago. 10 packs of Taytulla are now in the garbage where it belongs."

For Birth Control "I absolutely love this birth control! I haven’t had any problem with acne (but I never did before I was put on the pill), and no pregnancy scares at all! For Birth Control "I started taking Taytulla 2 weeks ago to help prevent more ovarian cysts from popping up. There is not one thing I've liked about this pill. I get terrible headaches and nausea almost constantly, I've broken out in acne all over my face. I have been suffering with terrible depression, anxiety, lack of interest in anything, and fatigue. I forgot to take it one night, and the next morning I woke up with super heavy bleeding. I know the body will react when starting any new medicine, but this is miserable. Would not recommend, ladies!"

For Birth Control "I've been on the pill almost 3 months. My acne has cleared up, but I get terrible cramps that have woken me up at night. I also spot a ton. I'll go about 4 days of normal feeling fantastic, then I'll spot for 3 days, then start to feel normal and then spot for a couple of days again, constantly all month. It's light, which is a relief, but I hate having to constantly worry about when I'm gonna bleed again. My breasts have been tender and grown a bit, which I don't mind. I haven't had any headaches, the cramps and spotting are my only concerns. I'm staying on this pill to hope it clears up in a couple of months. It's also super nice because my insurance coverage is amazing, and they have a $25 a month deal that came with my sample, so I've only had to pay $5 for a total of 5 packs!!!!"

For Birth Control "I hated my experience with Taytulla. Two weeks into starting the pills, I was hit with severe depression and anxiety. I gained about 15 lbs, and my face exploded with acne. I have previously never struggled with any of this on other forms of birth control and was shocked when it happened. I have since dropped the medication and feel like my old self again. Be cautious when taking this. It works, but the side effects made it not worth it."

For Birth Control "I have tried every form of birth control, with the exception of an IUD, and I find this pill to be the most successful one by far. It took my body just two months to properly adjust to the timing of the active pills. I've been on this now going on 5 months, and I couldn't be happier. My period lasts between 2-4 days, my cramps are very light. I do not get any negative side effects like some people have mentioned, I get less acne during my ovulation period, and my headaches have gone away. My bf and I have unprotected sex around 3 times a day, and so far, so good! I can't say that everyone will benefit the same as I have, but if there were a BC that I could recommend to anyone, it would be this one."

For Birth Control "This medication changed me inside and out. I experienced nausea, bleeding, acne, anxiety, depression, irritability, loss of focus, and felt like I was losing it. The chemical hormonal imbalance changed my demeanor completely. I began to have panic attacks and called my doctor. I had a consult, and the prescription was changed right away. I would not recommend this drug to anyone due to the side effects that I personally experienced, as I would not want another to endure the same. One month was enough, I began to mellow out but decided against staying on it due to the severity of the side effects. It took another two weeks to feel normal again."

For Birth Control "I took this pill for approximately 5 days, and I completely broke out into acne all over my body: face, chest, back, and arms... and I've never had acne in my life. I feel like I am a 13-year-old child going through puberty when I am 26! I never had any issues on Minastrin and was put on Taytulla because Minastrin became very expensive. I got horrible fatigue, neck pain, and acne from this medication. Needless to say, I will never be taking it AGAIN."

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about three months now. It's my first type of birth control I've ever taken, so I have nothing to compare it to. The first two months, symptom-wise, were horrid. I got extreme mood swings, horrid acne (my skin has always been clear), weight gain, and tender breasts. After the two months, however, the symptoms went completely away. I did have irregular periods before, but now they come at the exact time thanks to this pill. That's why I gave it 5 stars."

For Birth Control "I got put on Taytulla because my body is sensitive to hormones. I’ve always had problems being on birth control with bad mood swings and depression. My doctor recommended this to me because it’s a low dose. I’m on my 3rd pack right now. The first month I broke out on my face really bad, but it cleared up on the second pack! It completely stopped my period, I have no PMS symptoms at all! I take my pill every day at the same time. I took a test just to make sure I’m not pregnant! I did gain a few pounds, nothing too major. Other than that, I love this birth control!"

For Birth Control "Taytulla made me get my period for 20 out of the 30 days in a month. I've been on it for three to four months, and at first, my skin was the same, and now I'm breaking out like crazy. I went on birth control to help my skin, and this made it worse. I'm also exhausted all the time now, so I'm going to call my doctor and see how to get off this pill."
