For Dry Skin "My skin absolutely did not agree with this product. I am disappointed and mad at it. I got a really bad rash and burning and itching and anything you would hate having on my face from this product. I’ve had small red bumps all over my face. It dried my skin to the max, it ruined everything. I am in pain. It’s been three days, and it still hurts when I shower and wash my face. 0/10 would not recommend."

For Dry Skin "I saw a dermatologist twice this spring for swelling and hives that I thought might be due to sun sensitivity. I changed up my routine to avoid the sun completely and stopped using anything at all on my face. All was well until I tried adding CeraVe back in three days ago. I used the Hydrating Facial Cleanser on my face in the shower, rinsed well, and then applied the Daytime Facial Moisturizer. That was in the morning, and by bedtime, my face was ablaze with the same itchy hives and burning that I had misattributed to the sun before. I washed my face with water, applied cortisone cream, and took two Benadryl. Even still, when I awoke the following morning, my eyes were nearly swollen shut and my cheeks were thick with edema. I repeated the shower-cortisone-Benadryl, and it's getting better, but it will take several more days for all of the swelling and redness to abate. I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy, so these bottles are going into the box for household hazardous waste."

For Dry Skin "This was my first time using this product. It was given to me as a complimentary soap at the Hampton Inn I recently stayed at. I, like many others, have broken out in a rash (contact dermatitis), I also ended up with allergic conjunctivitis in my eyes (basically the same thing as pink eye, but it is caused by an allergic reaction)."

For Dry Skin "I have heard amazing things about this product, but my face, however, did not like it. This product broke me out in hives and scared my face. I have splotches of red marks and dry skin. My face looks like a cat scratched it all up. When I touch the area, it burns. Most of the burn-like scratches are under my eyes, cheeks, and nose."

For Dry Skin "I bought the gentle skin cleanser for aging dry skin and have finally realized that this is the reason my face and eyelids burn after using this product. It is anything but gentle! I would NOT recommend this cleanser at all. It has left my eyelids with a bumpy rash! Do not waste your money!"

For Dry Skin "My daughter had a small irritation on her wrist, and we used this to help it heal. She had a poor reaction to it, with hives and a burning sensation on skin all over her hands and wrist where this lotion touched her. We immediately stopped use. Would not recommend."

For Dry Skin "I have used Cetaphil for a long time because it is dermatologist recommended for sensitive skin. However, I recently purchased a new bottle and didn’t pay attention to the addition of B5. I used a lotion with B5 previously that caused a prickly rash where I used the lotion. The itching was unbearable. I realized what was causing it and used a prescribed steroid cream to clear it up. So, I thought it was safe to just go back to Cetaphil, and it was until recently. I went to use it the other night without worrying about what’s in it because it was Cetaphil. The next day, I had a rash eerily similar to the one that had B5 in it. I went and looked at the bottle, and sure enough Cetaphil has B5 in it. So, not really made for all sensitive skin types, and I’m now trying to get rid of this itchy rash again. They say B5 is safe to use, but it causes insane rashes on my skin when I use it."

For Dry Skin "I used Eucerin Advanced Repair and liked that it is fragrance-free, as I have sensitive skin. I used it at night after a shower, and every night I could not sleep-my skin was so itchy I just couldn't take it, and I eventually broke out into hives. I stopped using it, and my problem went away. I don't know which ingredient I was allergic to, but I did find out it has DMDM (a form of formaldehyde). It also felt greasy and sticky."

For Dry Skin "This helps with crepey and dry skin. However, I developed a very raw, itchy rash on my shins and neck and some on my arms. It took a while to figure out it was the lotion. I quit using the product about seven days ago and am much better. I still have patches of an itchy rash on my shins, but the other places are better."

For Dry Skin "I have been using Blistex Mango Blast for years. I went to use it again one night (about 6 weeks ago) after not using it for a month or so. My lips became itchy, inflamed, and blistered. It took a couple of weeks to resolve. I opened a brand new one and tried it again, thinking that the other one may have been expired or contaminated. The blisters, rash, peeling, itching, and burning on my lips are even worse. It’s been a week, and my lips are still oozing and bleeding. I’m never using that again!"

For Dry Skin "I have a rash all over my body that itches from using the Cetaphil Bar soap. I thought this brand was for sensitive skin. It does have perfume in it, which should have been a warning to me. I will continue to use the liquid soap."

For Dry Skin "I asked my dermatologist for something for my extremely dry face. My face is so dry that it’s painful and my foundation is absorbed within minutes since my skin is looking for moisture. I do use a primer, which does help. EpiCeram made my skin even drier than it was, and then I started breaking out at my jawline. At 70 years old, I’m a little old for pimples. I’m going to try to use it for two weeks, but if the rash gets worse, I will stop and call the dermatologist."

For Dry Skin "I started to use the Cetaphil cleanser around Christmas. Since then, my eyes and neck have swollen up in hives. I've been to an allergist and had to be on a massive dose of prednisone. It went away finally after 4 months of the worst burning, itching feeling I've ever had."

For Dry Skin "Horrible experience. I applied it on my face and neck. I had one pimple, I woke up to inflamed, red, itchy skin. I got hives, and my face was so swollen. Two days later, and I'm still dealing with it. Will never use again. I only used one time."
