For Dry Skin "I bought this product because it was on my dermatologist's list of non-comedogenic cleansers she approved of. I used it, and I felt this weird burning sensation, and afterwards, my skin itched. I thought it was just because I was using a new cleanser. Every day, I would notice my skin texture was getting rougher than before. I thought it was my prescribed medicine. On the fifth day, my face broke out in hives and redness, and it itched so bad, and it began to peel off at my chin. I then knew it was the cleanser because my medicine I'd been using a month prior never had side effects on my skin like this. Luckily, I caught it in less than a week and not months."

For Dry Skin "Omg, I used this Gold Bond Ultimate Healing and had the worst experience ever. My entire body felt like it was on fire, the itching was at 10+. It took me a few days to figure out what was going on, as I was actually using this lotion to stop the itch, not realizing that this was the cause. I found out when I was trying to moisturize my feet, and they flared up to a 10 immediately. Also, I cannot do my dishes, as my hands are extremely sensitive. So disappointed with this product."

For Vaginal Dryness "I've been using it for about three weeks. Extreme vaginal dryness and itching after hysterectomy over a year ago. Tried Monistat and KY with no success. This seems to be helping. I have noticed the white discharge, which is likely just the Replens coming out. My husband and I are not bothered by it since it is safe to use with intercourse. We'd rather deal with a little of it than the dryness and itching. Usually, by the second night (using every three days), I begin to notice a little itching returning. Yesterday it was increased, so I tried Replens again after only two days instead of three. The package says use as needed, so I did. I immediately noticed red blood on the applicator and when I wiped. I have nothing to bleed. I've had a hysterectomy and the top of my vagina sewed shut. Then the brown chunks. I'm assuming it's the dead skin cells coming off. I've had no discomfort and will continue to use for now unless the bleeding continues. Then I will see my OB-GYN. This product has made my life comfortable."

For Dry Skin "This gave me an extreme allergic reaction over my entire body. Within three days, my feet were blood red, extremely itchy, hot, and uncomfortable. Finally, I had to go to the emergency room. Treatment was only for my left foot, however, both feet, both legs, my entire stomach, my mouth, and lips are swollen. Inside my nose is scabbed. Still itching deep into my palms and cannot stop clawing my palms. I have discontinued for 5 days now and am still itching! I still look like a burn victim with an extensive rash. My doctor did not recommend I place Mederma on moist skin. He also tried to push this off on a new soap? New food? What the heck!"

For Dry Skin "I give this product a nine-at least. I have excess dry skin on my legs and arms. Sometimes it's so dry that I itch. This lotion is the only thing I have found that actually works and keeps working throughout the day. I apply a nice coat over my legs and arms daily. No more dry skin or itchiness. It's easy to find and affordable. I've even found it in the Dollar Store. I recommend trying it as a body lotion...it really works!!!"

For Vaginal Dryness "I too wish I had read these posts! I started taking Replens on the advice of my GP at the same time I was taking antibiotics for a UTI. Two days after I finished the antibiotics, I used another dose of Replens (every 3-day dosage) and felt cramping and bloated. The next day I had vaginal itching. The following day I experienced itching and burning, so I thought it was a yeast infection due to antibiotic use (even though I took probiotics). So I used an over-the-counter yeast medication. But I'm still having the cramping, also the brown discharge and now white discharge. I will see my MD if it doesn’t go away. I had taken 4 doses of Replens."

For Dry Skin "I had two facial skin biopsies performed by a dermatologist who gave me several packets of Polysporin to aid in wound healing. I had a horrible reaction to this salve (itching, redness, draining). I went back to this doctor who looked at the wounds and told me I had an allergic reaction, discontinued it, and substituted it with Vaseline. After several days of using Vaseline, this also didn't help at all. I went to another dermatologist who examined my wounds and gave me two sample tubes of Biafine. Within two days, I was so much better. Redness, itching, and wound weeping were down considerably. I firmly believe that if I had Biafine right away, I would not have suffered as I did."

For Dry Skin "I’ve been using this for about 6-7 days, and it was fine at first. My skin felt clean, and out of nowhere, my acne has gotten worse-a pimple a day, and then multiple ones. My face started drying out and itching, and my acne seems to look more like a rash now. Above my lips, it started to peel, and my face feels hot and swollen. I also had a severe swollen throat, which I’ve never experienced, and a hoarse cough and pain in my throat every time I would swallow. I showered to remove the cream and used antihistamines by mouth and 1 percent hydrocortisone cream on the skin. I have used other products by Aveeno with no reaction but will stop all use in the future. Day seven and I am still itching."

For Dry Skin "My skin absolutely did not agree with this product. I am disappointed and mad at it. I got a really bad rash and burning and itching and anything you would hate having on my face from this product. I’ve had small red bumps all over my face. For Dry Skin "I saw a dermatologist twice this spring for swelling and hives that I thought might be due to sun sensitivity. I changed up my routine to avoid the sun completely and stopped using anything at all on my face. All was well until I tried adding CeraVe back in three days ago. I used the Hydrating Facial Cleanser on my face in the shower, rinsed well, and then applied the Daytime Facial Moisturizer. That was in the morning, and by bedtime, my face was ablaze with the same itchy hives and burning that I had misattributed to the sun before. I washed my face with water, applied cortisone cream, and took two Benadryl. Even still, when I awoke the following morning, my eyes were nearly swollen shut and my cheeks were thick with edema. I repeated the shower-cortisone-Benadryl, and it's getting better, but it will take several more days for all of the swelling and redness to abate. I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy, so these bottles are going into the box for household hazardous waste."

For Dry Skin "I used Eucerin Christmas Eve for the first time and again on Christmas Day for dry skin on my hands. Both hands turned red, swelled up terribly, became hot to the touch, and itched badly, and I got weird bumps on the back of my hands around my wrists and up toward my forearms. For Dry Skin "I started taking CeraVe, and I developed full face itching, burning, and peeling in spots. The skin around my eyes became red and swollen as well. I don't have sensitive skin and was surprised at this reaction. I stopped using the medication and applied pure aloe vera gel daily and cortisone cream for itching. For Dry Skin "Used this Neutrogena French-milled soap in a Hampton Inn. Next morning, I was swollen and red. Didn’t think too much about it, but the second day it was twice as bad. Ended up at a walk-in clinic because it was the weekend. Injection, cortisone cream, and 6 days of steroids. Never itched so much in my life. So glad I only washed my face. For Vaginal Dryness "I’m 32. Never experienced vaginal atrophy. Stopped taking birth control and the changes started to happen. Initially thought it was a yeast infection. Treated twice and still no resolve to the dryness, itching and inflammation. I finally see a doctor who recommends Replens and I start to have the white thick chunky discharge, which are dead skin cells shedding, and then thick gooey bloody discharge only once. But my symptoms improved dramatically. The discharge did stop and I started to notice normal discharge and normalcy completely after 3 uses. It’s a godsend."
