For Dry Skin "I purchased the Blistex strawberry coconut lip smoothies as a part of a 3-pack. After using it, my lips turned bright red, burned, are hot to touch, itchy, and very swollen. I’ve put ice on them, but it’s been two days and hasn’t gotten any better. The other scents/flavors in the pack didn’t give me this reaction. I really think there is something wrong because this is the second time this happened after using the strawberry one."

For Dry Skin "I always had hormonal pimples, but my skin wasn't dry or oily. Since using Cetaphil, my forehead is extremely oily and broken out in small pimples. My face burns when I use the cleanser, but I have never had sensitive skin, so I am unsure what is happening."

For Dry Skin "I rubbed the lotion into the hands as you would any skin lotion. The skin on my hands immediately felt a burning sensation. My knuckles swelled. I washed my hands and put them under running cold water. It's been 15 minutes, and the burning has gone away. My knuckles still look swollen but are calming down. Eucerin is an OTC skincare cream. This is the first time I used it."

For Dry Skin "I opened a new tube of the Blistex Fruit Smoothies on Sunday. I have gotten up the last 3 days with extremely swollen, red, burning lips. I'm not sure which ingredient is the problem. I have used Blistex products for years with no side effects. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BLISTEX FRUIT SMOOTHIES!!"

For Dry Skin "I bought this cream with hopes of replacing an oil I was using that seemed to be clogging my pores. I applied the lotion before I went to bed, and when I woke up in the morning, my entire face was swollen and burned with a rash. I would NOT recommend this product. I have discontinued use of the cream, however, I'm still trying to get my skin back to its natural state."

For Dry Skin "I bought this product because it was on my dermatologist's list of non-comedogenic cleansers she approved of. I used it, and I felt this weird burning sensation, and afterwards, my skin itched. I thought it was just because I was using a new cleanser. Every day, I would notice my skin texture was getting rougher than before. I thought it was my prescribed medicine. On the fifth day, my face broke out in hives and redness, and it itched so bad, and it began to peel off at my chin. I then knew it was the cleanser because my medicine I'd been using a month prior never had side effects on my skin like this. Luckily, I caught it in less than a week and not months."

For Dry Skin "I bought Blistex orange mango blast while going into work because it was on sale for $1.99, and now I guess I know why. I used this product at work about 2 times over 3 hours, and my lips started to burn and turned bright red. I put some ice on them and nothing. Now this morning, I woke up with lips that are super swollen and hives at the bottom! I’m very angry that this has happened to so many people, and you can still buy this product."

For Vaginal Dryness "Reading the comments here makes me feel lucky it works for me. I am 69 and use it every 2 to 3 weeks before sleep. Occasionally, I get 20 minutes of a burning sensation, probably because I've left it too long between applications, but thankfully, no bleeding."

For Vaginal Dryness "Really interesting to read these reviews. I’ve been using it for the last few weeks, every 3 days. I’m loathing the white, tissuey discharge, which, as others have said, you literally need to scrape out yourself. The sight of it on my partner after having sex: mortifying. I’ve also had burning and awful cervical cramping and shooting pains, far worse than during a period, and some brown discharge. I’ve been blaming it on an endometrial biopsy I had a month ago, yet the cramping symptoms are repeatedly clearing by day 3, but coming back with a vengeance as soon as I use the product. I’m giving up, which is such a shame, as it gives a midcycle, ovulatory-feeling discharge, but every day."

For Vaginal Dryness "Started bleeding after the 2nd application. I'm 55 and haven't had a period for 5 years. Bleeding hasn't stopped yet, and neither has the burning. I've made a doctor appointment, it's that bad. This stuff needs to be pulled. I hope the effects can be reversed."

For Dry Skin "Absolutely horrible. On the second week of using Skin Renewing Retinol Serum around my eye area, my skin began to burn when I applied it. For Vaginal Dryness "I too wish I had read these posts! I started taking Replens on the advice of my GP at the same time I was taking antibiotics for a UTI. Two days after I finished the antibiotics, I used another dose of Replens (every 3-day dosage) and felt cramping and bloated. The next day I had vaginal itching. The following day I experienced itching and burning, so I thought it was a yeast infection due to antibiotic use (even though I took probiotics). So I used an over-the-counter yeast medication. But I'm still having the cramping, also the brown discharge and now white discharge. I will see my MD if it doesn’t go away. I had taken 4 doses of Replens."

For Dry Skin "Our baby girl had eczema, and the normal oat bath and moisturizing routine was not helping. We had to see a pediatric dermatologist who prescribed EpiCeram for regular use and hydrocortisone cream for the more stubborn instances. We were honestly skeptical about using EpiCeram and did not think this overpriced product would help, but nevertheless gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the product worked very well for our baby, and the eczema almost disappeared within 48 hours of usage. I have to agree with the reviewer earlier who mentioned that the cream creates more of a stinging sensation for the baby than a tingling sensation as mentioned by the manufacturers. Happy to be proven wrong in this instance."

For Vaginal Dryness "Decided to try this product as it is estrogen-free. After my first dosage, it burned. The next morning, I went to the bathroom, while wiping myself, there was a tinge of light pink on the paper. Needless to say, I will not be using a second dose. I was hoping for a solution to this problem, but this is not going to be it."

For Vaginal Dryness "I’m so glad to have found that others have had issues with this. It came highly recommended. I’m only 34 but have had a full hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. Each time I have tried using this stuff to treat vaginal dryness, it BURNS. Not sure a little sting, it feels like an acid burn for a good hour or so. After using it this last time, I’ve developed an infection and discharge, which I’ve never had before. I’ll definitely be discontinuing use of this."

For Dry Skin "I have been using this product for 15 years. I always loved how it stopped my rosacea problem. Now, since the product has changed, within 3 days of use, my skin has become sensitive to something in the new cream. It’s like it burnt my skin. No way I can continue to use this product. So sad."

For Dry Skin "My skin absolutely did not agree with this product. I am disappointed and mad at it. I got a really bad rash and burning and itching and anything you would hate having on my face from this product. I’ve had small red bumps all over my face. It dried my skin to the max, it ruined everything. I am in pain. It’s been three days, and it still hurts when I shower and wash my face. 0/10 would not recommend."

For Dry Skin "I saw a dermatologist twice this spring for swelling and hives that I thought might be due to sun sensitivity. I changed up my routine to avoid the sun completely and stopped using anything at all on my face. All was well until I tried adding CeraVe back in three days ago. I used the Hydrating Facial Cleanser on my face in the shower, rinsed well, and then applied the Daytime Facial Moisturizer. That was in the morning, and by bedtime, my face was ablaze with the same itchy hives and burning that I had misattributed to the sun before. I washed my face with water, applied cortisone cream, and took two Benadryl. Even still, when I awoke the following morning, my eyes were nearly swollen shut and my cheeks were thick with edema. I repeated the shower-cortisone-Benadryl, and it's getting better, but it will take several more days for all of the swelling and redness to abate. I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy, so these bottles are going into the box for household hazardous waste."

For Dry Skin "I ran out of my Carmex, and I was at the store. I picked up Blistex strawberry lemonade ChapStick on Tuesday. I used it, and I woke up in the middle of the night with tingly burning of my lips. When I looked in the mirror, my lips were so red and swollen! It's been 4 days, and they're still burning, tingling, and swollen! Don't buy it! And if you have it, throw it away!"

For Dry Skin "My eye is swollen with little red bumps. I used Cetaphil Cleanser on my face and eyes, it is good stuff to use, but my eyes started burning. My face was okay the next day, but my eyes are really bad, which isn't cool. It feels like somebody has punched me in the eye."

For Dry Skin "I have heard amazing things about this product, but my face, however, did not like it. This product broke me out in hives and scared my face. I have splotches of red marks and dry skin. My face looks like a cat scratched it all up. When I touch the area, it burns. Most of the burn-like scratches are under my eyes, cheeks, and nose."

For Dry Skin "So I ran out of my normal chapstick, and so I grabbed this one because I figured it's medicated, so it must be good, and after using it for a few days, my lips got SUPER swollen and red and itchy and burning and very, very painful. It's been a few days, and the symptoms haven't gone down at all. I am considering calling my doctor. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT."
