For HIV Infection "I’ve been on Cabenuva now for about five months. During this time, my viral load has remained detectable, and my T cell count has remained steady. I’m going to discontinue the regimen because of the side effects of tiredness and muscle aches in my back. Everyone in my age talks about brain fog. I can’t yet attribute my increase in brain fog to Cabenuva, but it seems that mine is worse than it was before I started the drug a few months ago."

For HIV Infection "I am experiencing a lot of muscle pain in my thighs. I had more soreness with the second injection than the first."

For HIV Infection "I had my initial injection last week. What a great sense of freedom I feel after years of taking a daily pill. I am pill-free and loving it! The injection itself did not hurt at all. However, my butt was certainly sore for three days. We will see if the same thing happens with follow-up shots. I go back in a month for my first follow-up shot. And it’s every 2 months after that. This is a no-brainer for me. I am free from pills and daily management of HIV. I am also hopeful for longer-lasting treatments in the future. Thank you, science (and scientists!)"
