Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "My NMD suggested Quercetin to me at a dose of 500mg 3 times a day. I only have taken 500mg once a day. This stuff gave me bad side effects of mild dizziness, mild nausea, and difficulty sleeping. I am sensitive to many supplements, so this is not a condemnation of Quercetin for all, but beware, this stuff can cause side effects and make you feel lousy!"

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "It took a while for me to put it together, but this supplement caused pretty significant heart palpitations and racing heart. The brand I used was by Toniq if that has an effect. I'm sensitive to caffeine in that way, but I do not use caffeine. I didn't use long enough to see a benefit. I figured the connection to heart palpitations after about 10 days. Sorry it took so long."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "It has taken me much too long to realize I had 7 side effects: palpitations, rise in blood pressure, pounding in my ears, nervousness, heavy legs, dizziness, and blurred vision. I am struggling here, and I don't know how to get relief now. I will never take it again. I am really sensitive to all kinds of supplements and pills."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "My family started taking a once daily, 800 mg quercetin/165 mg bromelain capsule, along with 1000 mg vit c (lypospheric) sachet, and a zinc powder as a prophylactic. After a couple of weeks, it became apparent that our energy levels were reduced, and we became listless, and dare I say, mildly depressed, having no inclination to do anything during the holidays. My wife also experienced headaches. We stopped the Quercetin, and within a few days, energy levels seemed restored, and we feel a great deal more energetic. This may be unrelated to Quercetin, but I felt it worth mentioning, so you may monitor your own feelings."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "Started taking this after hearing about it from an internet guru. I have a slow heart rate to begin with. This stuff slowed it down in the 40s. I believe many experience dizziness from either bradycardia or tachycardia caused by this supplement. I also had problems sleeping, as well as leg pain. Literally every side effect listed. Don't use this. There are beneficial flavonoids in fruit that won't cause all of this mess."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "I had been having problems with always feeling cold, especially my feet. I always had to wear a hoodie or a sweater to keep warm and sleep with a heated blanket. 74 degrees room temperature, and I was freezing. I started taking Quercetin, and I am no longer cold. My energy level is up—no more brain fog. Pain levels have decreased. I have had no side effects from taking it."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "Taking this for my seasonal allergies and histamine tolerance combined with Zinc and C. It opens my nose right up, gives me energy, and increased my mood. I also feel much better, focused, and no brain fog, and can tolerate more foods. However, this makes you poop after 30 minutes of taking one pill. Gives cramps, bloating, and gas. Honestly, it’s too bad since it is helping with other symptoms, inflammation, and food intolerance. I have to take it before bed since taking it during the day is impossible with those GI issues. Too bad."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "Received for osteoarthritis. Also, I have not had a flare-up of my rheumatoid arthritis for approximately 8 months. Pain was relieved within 2 weeks. No side effects have been noted. Great to know it comes from plants and may provide additional benefits (antioxidants)."

Rutin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "I began taking Rutin after reading that it helps activate brown fat to burn the more harmful white fat (in the belly and elsewhere). For many years, I have taken Ester-C, 500 mg, daily, to which I have added the 500 mg Rutin complex. Because I did not heavily research this OTC supplement beforehand, I did not know it had other uses. By coincidence, I had suffered my first bout with high blood pressure beforehand, and I had also suffered for three weeks with another middle-aged first: a hemorrhoid. After taking Rutin for 10 days, I had no more high blood pressure episodes, no more hemorrhoid discomfort, less knee pain, and fewer asthma symptoms. These benefits were unexpected. The downside? I now have 4 weeks of daily headaches and blurred vision."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "After 3 1/2 months of using Limbrel, I became violently ill. I had extreme nausea, vomiting, feverish chills, and achy muscles. My primary doctor ran blood work, and it came back that I was anemic with liver problems. After 15 days of feeling like I had food poisoning, I searched online and found that there were dozens of people with the same symptoms, and some even went to the hospital. I stopped taking the Limbrel right away and started feeling better within 48 hours. After 7-8 days, I was back to 100%."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "I have been taking a range of supplements during the Covid episode (vitamins B, C, D, Magnesium, Zinc, Quercetin, Cosamin, Qunol, ARED-2 and Turmeric) plus two prescription meds for high blood pressure. Sometimes I would eat something late, but always took all my pills just before bed. Usually my sleep was bad and I would awaken a lot with nausea and digestive discomfort. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Recently I thought the pills might be causing the problems, so I switched to taking them at noon. My sleep abruptly became long, sound and comfortable -- but now I began feeling ill and nauseated in late afternoon and diarrhea into the evening. So then I tried only one of the supplements per day. I discovered that it is Quercetin 800mg with Bromelain that does this to me. Checking Quercetin side effects online, I may have some of them too -- nighttime skin itching, leg and ankle swelling, leg pains and blood pressure increases. Still testing those."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "In combination with bromelain and vitamin C, I noticed that quercetin made a positive difference in ease of breathing but it took some time to be effective. It’s been a year since I took it but now have breathing issue a few weeks after Covid so will try again."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "Although it did not reduce the pain I suffer in any great amount, it did reduce the swelling 100%. Since I cannot use NSAIDs to combat severe osteoarthritis, taking this along with the pain medication helps a lot."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "I was put on a popular natural antihistamine for sinus allergies and other symptoms of higher histamine levels as I'm entering menopause. The product contains quercetin as a main ingredient. After three days of use, I'm feeling very sick. On and off upset stomach, woozy head/headache, greater fatigue, and overall feel ill all over. I'm fairly reactive to things and have a sensitive stomach. I'm stopping the supplement and going back to my 1/2 Benadryl at bedtime."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "67 years old with deteriorating disc disease and neuropathy. I was on 1,200 mg of ibuprofen for five years. My doctor would only continue prescribing the prescription strength ibuprofen if I took a proton pump inhibitor. I was extremely reluctant because of the side effects of a proton pump inhibitor, or as I also have mild osteoporosis. My gynecologist recommended Limbrel 500 as a replacement for the ibuprofen. I've been on Limbrel for two years. I've had no side effects, and it works as well as ibuprofen."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) "My husband took this 'medicine' for about 3 weeks before his stomach began. He started having chills and fever, sometimes as high as 104.5 every night. We thought he had the flu, so the doctor gave him Tamiflu. After 6 days on Tamiflu, still no relief. He continued with fever, chills, and just feeling lousy for another 10 days before he ended up in the emergency room. We started reading reviews of Limbrel on Google and realized what was causing his symptoms. He will NEVER take this medicine again. His rheumatologist never mentioned this as a possible symptom, and the circular that came with this pseudo-drug did not mention it either. Beware, beware, beware!!! Seems it works for about 4 out of 5 people but is devastating for 20% of people."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "Cardiologist prescribed Flecainide for my arrhythmias. The only med work for me in the hospital. But after few months, the side effect came out. I start to take Quercetin with bromelaine, with some Chinese herbs supplements. My heart now has normal function without taking Flecainide ."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "I was diagnosed with lupus almost 10 years ago. My first rheumatologist prescribed this for me. It took about 3 weeks to take effect...and when it did...it was a Godsend for me. Almost total relief of joint pain and swelling. I have gone off of it before due to price...and suffered for it. I recently went off of it again...and sadly am paying for it royally. My joints are red, swollen, and very painful. I stopped taking it due to a jump from $60 a month with a coupon to $676 a month without a coupon. I am now pursuing it through the Limbrel website, but it is a slow process. This is sad...it is such a fantastic drug...and for me, it has zero side effects. I know there are so many more people out there that could benefit from it."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) "I have had severe pain due to my multiple sclerosis. Started on Limbrel, after a few weeks I could feel the relief. I take it every 12 hours, and I can feel when the hour is near to dose. In between, I use Aleve, but with much less dosing. This has been a godsend for me and absolutely no side effects."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "I had knee replacements which were wonderful, however, one of my knees kept bothering me and I went back to my orthopedist and he gave me samples of limbrel. After taking limbrel (a few hours later) my tongue began swelling so much that I couldn't talk plainly and I began itching all over. I was taken to the emergency room and given a medication to counteract the swelling and itching. I will never take the medication again. I added it to my allergy list although I have never been allergic to anything else."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "Started taking an immunity boosting supplement today with 200 mg Quercetin. After an hour, had nausea to the extent that I thought I would lose my breakfast but it passed. Will try again tomorrow. Everything except Q I’ve taken before so I’m suspicious."

Limbrel (bioflavonoids) for Osteoarthritis "I took Limbrel about 8 years ago and after taking it for the first 2 years I began hearing music. The first music I heard were songs like Mary had a Little Lamb, nursery Rhyme songs. Then after that I constantly heard Patriot songs non stop like God Bless America. After a while I started hearing Military songs like The Cassons Go Rolling Along. Constantly hearing all of these different songs. Today after all of these years I hear constant music, all kinds of music. Jazz (especially bad trying to go to sleep), Opera and songs I've never heard before. I have no control, the music never stops. I feel like I am going crazy. Most of the time I wear headphones to my TV to block out the constant music. The music I hear is very loud and it is filling the room that I am in. Just a few years ago my mother said her doctor gave her something for Arthritis. Not knowing about the music I hear she said she was hearing Nursery rhyme songs. It was Limbrel! I said Mom, STOP taking it and she did."

Quercetin (bioflavonoids) for Herbal Supplementation "I took 500 mg for first time this morning, for anti inflammatory properties. Also took with my normal probiotics, and an NAC that I've been taking for immune support. I was hoping for energy boost, and skin benefits as well. This definitely made my heart race a bit, but it didn't last too long. My mother-in-law loves this stuff. Too soon to tell if it's beneficial for me or not. Would like to give it a go again."

"Quercetin was recommended to assist with mast cell activation and histamine intolerance. Be careful if you have complex health issues such as inflammation, cardiovascular, and mental health conditions. After one dose, the supplement caused a surge in heart rate, limb aches, gut disturbance, headache, and adrenaline-related anxiety (intermittent) and muscle tension. To counter these unexpected side effects, required an antihistamine, acetaminophen, and beta blocker to regulate the effects of this supplement. It is not suitable for all. Check with a doctor before taking any online supplements."
