For Chronic Pain "Something needs to be done. 10 mg oxycodone 120 pills. Some are weaker and don't work on the pain. All out of the same bottle. Drug companies should be testing their products to make sure they are consistent! While some are weaker ( in same bottle) some are stronger. For some this could be dangerous."

For Chronic Pain "I've been on my meds since 1997. I was in a car accident crushed against a tree in my car. I didn't start my meds during the craziness. Over 20 years my pain meds keep me normal. I've been with the same pharmacy for about 4 years. I have never given them a problem. In the beginning of this month he claimed to of not had my usual brand. I desperately asked him how it will affect me and is this only once. He told me it's the same different manufacturers and that he hasn't gotten any of my normal ones. I trusted his word. Then once I tried them I called him and complained explaining this is not working. He also suggested I go somewhere else I explained to him that is not right I simply want what I know works for me. I am praying that when it's my next pick up he gives me what I'm supposed to have. This particular brand of percocet has been making me sick it's not a mind thing it's physical pain. U17 are the barings on the pill the brand is Aurolife Pharma LLC and they do not serve there purpose. Please don't make the same mistakes as I did. We have rights"

For Pain "Extreme aching throbbing lower back pain. Tried lyrica, cymbalta, tramadol, ultram, vicodine, flexyril, deseryl, trasadone, imiprimine, just to name a few with no relief and in most cases felt worse. Had 2 injections at L4/L5 that did nothing to relieve the pain and was finally given 10/325 percocet 1 twice a day but i find that 1/2 twice a day allows me to function and provides relief so I can actually feel like doing things. I am disappointed that this drug is taboo I guess because of the potential for abuse, but anyone with real pain is not taking it for the narcotic affect but so they can lead a normal life. I think the FDA and physicians that try to steer clear of prescribing it need to experience living with pain."

For Pain "I've used percocet for pain in the past (several nasty dental surgeries). I couldn't help but notice one user's comment that it helped with her depression. I have social anxiety and generalized anxiety disorder and whenever I take percocet I feel absolutely normal again. I become very focused and energetic (much less scatter-brained and terrified of everything) and am very productive. I have told my psycho pharmacologist this but didn't seem to get anywhere with it. I know that you can't take this drug forever but it's too bad there isn't something that can be learned from this. Interesting that someone else feels the same way."

For Chronic Pain "I'm so sick on these new pills I got at Walgreens, I've been on generic percocet for many years and now I'm going through terrible withdrawals from this brand named MFG Camber. I agree with the others on this site - there is something wrong with this brand. I can't even get myself out of the bed. It is making me shaky, nauseous, unable to function. I'm about ready to go to a hospital if I don't start feeling better. Plus I'm sweating like I've never sweat before. Don't get these Chamber generic percocet...you will be sick as a dog."

For Chronic Pain "Many back injuries, as child and adult. At 40, had fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and more. On 8 Advil/day, much pain. Wonderful old doc said I'd blow kidneys on Advil, put me on Percocet 5/325 - it really helped. Later, other MDs put me on variety of antidepressants. They did NOT relieve pain (some aggravated it). Side effects were monstrous; so was withdrawal when I quit. I remain on my Perc. After 2 decades of careful use, I now take 10/325 dose, cut them in half and take as needed, average 3 pills/day. I can walk, function well and think straight. No side effects! BEST PAIN MED EVER. My heart breaks for people in severe pain. "

For Chronic Pain "I've been taking Percocet 5/325 , 1 and 1/2 times a day for a totally messed up lower back in constant levels of pain when moving, can't stand up straight, For 10 yrs. I also periodically get back injections, and take small amounts of Methocarbamol for spasms, plus occasional Diflocenac when extremely bad... I know for a fact I will never get addicted to the Percocet. I don't feel any " High " or Crave it ever, in fact it makes me nauseous, and constipated... Oddly enough, that little bit, spaced right, combined with other pain relief allow me to get around pretty good, take care of grass cutting etc., It does cut into the most severe pain..... ex. Sciatica, when that flares up. And to be honest it's safer than any other alternative, especially for those of us who never crave the feeling of the drug .... !! To be honest it's overall NOT a physical feeling of well being for me !!! It cuts into pain ..PERIOD !"

For Chronic Pain "I have three bulging disc and a big guy at 240 lb the Rhodes frond of oxycodone with acetaminophen 10-325 medications absolutely useless. They're like taking a placebo or just a regular Tylenol. My doctor said that some people's chemistry binds with the bodies chemicals incorrectly with the medication and makes it to the inert. Does zero. The other percocet brand that starts with an M, weird name worked to reduce pain by 50%"

For Chronic Pain "I have multiple painful conditions such as DDD (cervical and lumbar), sacroilitis, sciatica, small fiber neuropathy, and have been recently diagnosed by my pain doctor with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. For years I have been prescribed one treatment or medication after another with poor results. I am now taking high doses of gabapentin for the nerve pain and 10/325 Percocet three times a day, and this is what keeps me functioning daily and working full time. If it wasn’t for Percocet I would most likely be bedridden and on disability."

For Chronic Pain "If you find that this medication doesn’t help you, it could be your liver lacks the enzyme to break it down. This medication also made me feel depressed- and I actually am a very happy person- so I knew I wasn’t depressed, but couldn’t shake the feeling of flatness. Also, this medication did almost nothing for my pain from severe facet arthritis, DDD and stenosis. I found 40 minutes later it felt like I had to take it again - Thankfully my Dr switched me to something that does work, but I had a genetic test done for medication and found out I lack an enzyme to break the med down to the active form. I also found out that the reason for my mood problems is because this drug interacts with the Kappa receptor, which can cause dysphoria. Not great for me, but I know many people find relief with it. If you don’t or have the above experience- ask for a genetic test for pain medication- it is very helpful."

For Chronic Pain "I broke my back at 25 this drug, keep me going, it helps me with my anxiety as well make me more social and I can go to the gym and workout without pain. But my doctor only gives me 75 a month I go thru them in 20 days. But he won't give me more. Which sucks the new laws make it hard for people that actually need this drug, rappers glorify drugs and people that need them get screwed I get 5/325 . Miracle drug for some."

For Pain "I had heavy dental work done and the doctor gave me Percocet. I also suffer from depression. The percocet did wonders for my depression. It made me feel like myself again. I plan on telling my shrink about this tomorrow morning. I know I can't continue to take this medicine but there may be a clue about percocet and depression. I don't feel high, just normal."

For Chronic Pain "I am mid 40s male and had chronic back pain, spondylosis and degenerative disc disease for the last 5 years to where it became impossible to hardly move without being in pain. I am allergic to codeine so the doctors tried Vicodin. I saw nothing with Vicodin except tiredness. I was asked to try Percocet 5/325 in place of the Vicodin. Not only has it helped make the pain manageable I actually had the desire to get out of the house and do things that I have not been able to do before taking it. "

For Pain "I paid $275.00 for 120 percocet pills from CVS in ravenna ohio. I just had back surgery and have not been on pain meds before surgery. I was prescribed 10/325 generic, they started to kick in about 20 minutes later, they only lasted about three hours. They are the worst pain meds I have ever taken , the rb percocet are garbage, call your pharmacy ask who their supplier is of that med, they usually will tell you. I asked the pharmacy if anyone else had complained they said yes, but the person said the get these pills really cheap. You would think all the money cvs makes they would care more for their customers, please beware."

For Pain "I had back surgery (Laminectemy of L4, L5 and S4 , 8 inch titanium rod w/7 screws)in October 2006 plus I have severe Fibromyalgia and although Percocet makes me a little sleepy, this is the first time in 4 years that I feel relatively pain free. About 5 doctors were afraid of giving me anything stronger than regular Vicoden because of habit forming. Who cared if I couldn't walk or participate in activities. I finally found a doctor that was willing to help! Sometimes they give dogs more pallative care than humans. I should have gone to a vetenerian instead. "

For Chronic Pain "After taking Norco 10/325 for close to 8 months, I was switched to Percocet 10/325 and what a difference! I take 4 a day and I have my life back!! I was injured earlier this year and fractured my patella. Even Physical Therapy didn't help as much as it should, because I was left with osteoarthritis in my knee. I'm now able to do chores, go places and enjoy life again thanks to no pain! Thank you Percocet."

For Pain "I have taken percs before and the last time I picked up my script the pharmacy told me these may be made outside the US. Noticing some of the comments and people getting sick is it possible that those symptoms cause the ill effect from being made outside the country? Just an opinion..."

For Pain "Percocet was a life saver for me. I was on Vicodin prior, and they didn't help whatsoever. I had taken Vicodin for like, 5 years. I was at the point where I had to take like SIX Vicodin to get relief. People acted like I was a seeker but I'm definitely not, I just got a high tolerance because the dose was never changed. Percocet helps so much more! If I'm in 10/10 pain, I can take like one and a half or two - and it'll take it down to a 3-4/10. I have quite a few health issues, my main issue is a back injury from cheerleading and a bladder issue called interstitial cystitis. It's excruciating. Since changing to Percocet, I went from every month or two, being in the ER... to, no ER visits!"

For Chronic Pain "This drug is a miracle for me but the government has made my life miserable. I get pain relief only on this- no high, no low, no sleepiness nothing but pain relief. I was on 75mg total a day with extended release and break through but they have forced me down to 40mg a day of only break through. I spend half my day sitting or lying down in pain until the pills kick in for about two hours. I will be seeking medical marijuana now"

For Chronic Pain "I have 4 herniated discs was prescribed Percocet which took the edge off. I never went above prescribed dosage then drug store switched generic company to camber acetaminophen/oxycodone I felt sick, headaches vomited. I never knew you could be sold total garbage from Walgreen’s so never will go back there. Instead I will go to mom and pop drug stores mallinkrot maybe spelt wrong but they do work better"

For Pain "I am taking Percocet 10/325mg five times daily for breakthrough pain with Ms-Contin 30 mg twice daily, and 60 mg at night. I am taking them due to a past near fatal car wreck that almost left me totally crippled. Taking these medicines have really given me my life back. I also agree that it actually does help with depression; as some people have mentioned on this site. I suffer from deep depression, and since taking these medicines it is like the depression is totally gone. Thumbs up to the caring Pain Management Doctors and these two medicines. Worked wonders for me."

For Chronic Pain "Percocet is indeed a wonder medicine for pain. I take up to 5 a day and still have some pain, but at least it is dulled to a point of making my life worthwhile. I am in late 70s and doctors have told me that back surgery at my age and my condition (Severe stenosis, herniated disc) is risky. I thought my later years would be enjoyable but back pain has made me lose interest in all the things that I looked forward to, travel, etc. It has placed a heavy burden on my wife to take care of me in my pain mode."

For Chronic Pain "I took Percocet for several years then stopped, and just got back on to it but with a different CO. It was like it had no active ingredients and it made me hyper and made me lose sleep. No good, like the company made fake pills."

For Pain "Took the pill every six hours for two weeks after shoulder surgery to deal with the immense pain. It worked! Then I stopped one day. Big mistake. The withdrawal took a week and I felt like going to the ER. No one told me to taper off. The pain became unbearable again especially after physical therapy and now I only take one an hour before PT. Bottom line, it works but is a narcotic so addiction CAN happen and withdrawal must be executed carefully."
