Uses of Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, and Simethicone Effervescent Granule Pkt:
- It is used to treat heartburn and upset stomach.
- It is used to ease too much gas in the stomach.

- Take with or without food.
- Place1/2 of the packet contents onto the back of the tongue. Wash it down with 1 tablespoon (15 mL) water. Repeat with the rest of the drug in the packet.
What do I do if I miss a dose?
- Many times sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and simethicone effervescent granule pkt is taken on an as needed basis. Do not take more often than told by the doctor.
- Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

- Throwing up blood or throw up that looks like coffee grounds.
- Weakness, numbness, or tingling.
- Feeling confused.
