The simple answer is no. Buspirone is not a narcotic nor a benzodiazepine. It is not a controlled substance and is not addictive or habituating so no worries about discontinuation symptoms.

No you cannot get high
Buspar is not related to xanax in any way other then they are both for anxiety. You do not get high from it. It isn't a controlled medication because of this.
Just wanted to know because I don't want any withdrawal if I stop taking this medication thank you.
