I took 10mg of buspirone this morning at 7am. I have very bad anxiety everyday and it gets worse during the evening. I have been taken Xanax 2mg for it. But I was afraid to take one as I felt my anxiety creeping up. My cheeks feel hot right now. Today was the first day taking the buspirone but I need something that works.. Was it safe to take 1mg after 12 hours of taking 10.g of buspirone.
Is it safe to take a 1mg of Xanax 12 hours after taking 10mg of buspirone?

I just dnt know how to approach my new dr and tell..this is what works for me that I know.

Buspirone has a very short half life and is out of your system within several hours. After about 10 hours only a tiny percentage is left.
But the combination can cause dizziness and drowsiness. You'll probably be okay just be careful the first few times:

Buspirone has been extremely helpful for me and I've taken it for over four years. It's not fast acting... it can take a month or so to become fully effective but it's an excellent choice for long term treatment of anxiety disorders.
That’s an absolutely safe combo. When I went on Buspirone 20 years ago, my doc gave me Xanax to take as needed until the Buspirone took full effect (about 4 weeks). Buspirone takes time to build up in your body, so don’t quit taking it. Xanax does work well when the anxiety is bad. Hang in there, it will get better. I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
Yes, it is safe IMO. I have done it before and had no problems.
Thank you for your answer..I know buspirone takes time to work but with my anxiety that I have been experiencing and have sometimes turned into panic attacks..this medicine wnt work for me... I feel..I dont know if I should continue using it
