Avoid cold medications that are NOT for people who has high blood pressure because they tend to accelerate your heart rhythm. So make sure it can be used for people with high blood pressure.

Avoid pseudofed. Plain mucinex is ok. Your pharmacist is the best one to recommend what is good for you.
