What is the difference between yellow, round Percocet 10/325 vs white, round Percocet 10/325? I've worked in pain management, I have family/friends with chronic pain and I also have chronic pain. Every person I've asked about this specific issue have all said they can tell a difference between the generic brands. All of the people I have discussed this issue with have said their physician and/or pharmacy have responded by saying "It's all in their heads.". I have talked to people from all walks of life and sadly I've responded the same until I had to take pain medication myself. Very few of them have ever even had the name-brand pain medicines. If the generic tablets are even slightly being diluted,(compared to the other generic tablets), then wouldn't that unintentionally cause patients to possibly need a stronger dose? If patients are prescribed & supposed to be taking a 10mg tablet but aren't receiving a 10mg dose then their pain isn't being treated, so then patients who are in an environment where overuse is accepted along with having chronic pain would be more likely to get pain medication off the street or steal meds from loved ones, to adjust or relieve their pain level. So how are these generic manufacturers allowed to use fillers that can dilute medicine and potentially cause someone to feel like illegal action is their only outlet? Are there other differences in these tablets? Please help us to understand.
Yellow tablets vs white tablets?
