I’ve been on this med for two weeks and cannot stand the side effects already (dizziness, fogginess, anxiety, chest pain, among many) . I am on 3.25mg twice daily (lowest dose). My doctor is out of the office and I want to know if I can stop cold turkey since it’s only been two weeks, or should I still wean off?
Do I need to wean off of carvedilol after only two weeks?

If you suddenly stop taking carvedilol, you may experience serious heart problems such as severe chest pain, a heart attack, or an irregular heartbeat. Your doctor will probably want to decrease your dose gradually over 1 to 2 weeks. Your doctor will watch you carefully and will probably tell you to avoid physical activity during this time.
