I am 79 taking Coreg for 30 years and started on Cialis with my doctor's order several months ago. I am taking Cialis 5 MG twice a week. It works for me and lasts 3 days per dose. Some side affects but nothing serious as verified by my doctor.
No problem, but, my doc switched me to Trimix and Cialis because apparently Carvedilol builds up in your system... Trimix works more smoothly, and less harshness, but, is a bit more difficult to use (has to be kept frozen or at least refrigerated.)
I'm 89 years old and have been taking carvedilol for 8 years and Cialis for 18 months. No problems for me. My cardiologist, internist, and urologist are all aware of the medications I take. Coreg, Plavix, Prinivil, Pravachol, Cialis, and Omeprazole.
No problems with any of those which I take every day. Coreg or carvedilol I take 25 mg twice daily. I started Cialis with the 90 free tabs and noticed big improvement in ED and BPH as well as energy level and sexual interest within a few days of the first dose.
As usual YMMV. Ask all your doctors.
You can, just be careful and don't jump up suddenly, it could decrease your bp. You should be sure its ok with your dr tho.
