This is my second day on Vraylar. I Take it in the morning. Body aches all day, I can't walk, I can't think properly, I feel dizzy, weak and sleepy. I feel sick to my stomach.
My doctor prescribed it for me as mood stabilizer snd for depressive episodes.
I am scared. Please someone help me. I don't know if this is normal in the beginning or if this is a red flag that this med is not for me.
I am already on Lamictal 300 mg once a day and pregabalin 75 mg twice a day.
I look forward to hearing from anyone. Thank you!

Hi, mchelala11!
These are common to very common side effects that some people experience when first starting treatment... although yours sound rather severe. You need to inform your doctor of any and all side effects you're having and get her/his professional advice. You didn't mention what dosage you're starting on but if it's a middle of the road dose a temporary decrease may help your metabolism adjust more smoothly to the drug. Also, most side effects generally resolve within a few days to a week or so... it may be a matter of giving it a bit more time if possible.
Okay, so here's the plan. Don't panic, but do get a call in to your doctor as soon as possible. Here are some statistics that may be helpful to letting you know that you're not alone in this:
"Common (1% to 10% of users): Arthralgia, back pain, musculoskeletal stiffness, pain in extremities"
"Very common (10% or more of users): Somnolence (up to 10%)
Common (1% to 10% of users): Dizziness, sedation
Uncommon (0.1% to 1% of users: Lethargy, vertigo"
"Very Common (10% or more of users): Nausea (up to 13%)"
Best regards and I hope you're over this quickly. I've been taking Vraylar myself and it's been very effective for me.
Thank you WildcatVet!1
This is very good to know. I will be more patient to see if the side effects subside day-day.
I took it in the evening last night which I noticed was a little bit better even though today I feel out of it all day. Like I said, I'm still scared but hopefully there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you again for the great advice. I will try not to panic.
