It isn't a controlled substance but NSAIDS can cause false pos for amphetamines with some urine screens. If you had it prescribed for you, you wouldn't have to worry, or if you took an otc like motrin.
No, this is not a controlled substance. Drug screens are looking for controlled substances.
The gel is in the same class of drugs as Motrin or Advil. About 15% enters the internal system, but you know Motrin is a pain reliever and anti-inflamatory. It's designed for bad knees, arthritis & pain in joints.
There is no Class 2 or 3 pain relievers. Entirely safe for drug tests. :)
It works very well for me, although for painters elbow I need lots of it, and I use Norco to help as well. I wish a surgery could fix it!
