I have been on venlafaxine for many years and believe it has completely changed me. I used to be very sociable and outgoing. But the person I am now, I dont enjoy going out and I am not very sociable.
I seem to have gone from extraverted to interverted and no longer enjoy the things I once did.
It has also taken a massive affect on my libido.
It has helped with my depression, I no longer get upset all the time.
But I do miss the person I used to be.
Does venlafaxine change you?

I'm in the same position. I am Currently trying to reduce my dose from 150mg to 75mg for this very reason. I just want to be 'ME' again. Yes my moods are better and I'm much more stable, but life is passing me by. I want to go out with a BANG!
It's always seems to be a compromise between my life and my well being, I've decided life comes first.
Hope this helps
Chris
