How close together can infusions be taken? I am supposed to do it every eight hours. Now the last one of he day will only be three hours apart from the previous one. Is that OK?
Vancomycin - I fell asleep and didn't take an IV infusion when I should have.

Answers
The timing of your infusions usually depends on your prescription and your doctor's recommendations. If your doctor has advised you to take your infusions every eight hours, this is the best schedule for your particular case.
If you experience any changes in your infusion schedule (for example, a three-hour deviation on the last day), it is recommended that you contact your doctor or health care professional for advice. Your doctor can provide specific advice for your case, taking into account your medical condition and the nature of your infusions.
It is important to determine if changes in the schedule are safe for your health and effective for your treatment. Improper use of infusions can affect the effectiveness of your treatment and your health, so you should always follow your doctor's advice.
